Well it's still being reported that FC is after 2 players as well as bringing in Ben Evans on a permanent deal.

Though, I'd have to wonder if Wire would be willing to part with him given his first season with us was a good one as well as the fact they're losing several experienced forwards at the end of the season

Ben Evans has yet to show he's good enough to play in SL, let alone for Warrington.

Given that he's only 20 and only made 15 appearances last year I think he's got room to grow and could be a very good forward given time. His stats certainly don't back up your opinion.

As for the 2 signings that Ryan Whitcut said we were making but refused to elaborate on, given the time frame (the next 2 weeks) that sort of suggests that both players are perhaps SL based and currently play for clubs still in the playoffs and their signings won't be announced until said clubs involvement with the playoffs comes to an end.

There is absolutely no logic to us signing Brett Hodgson whatsoever.

Not sure what to make of the Winterstein rumour. Would he be classed as Lulia's replacement? Enormous downgrade if true.

I'm no longer sure about that. Hodgson obviously was a class player but his strength was in his intelligence, speed of thought & game management. I think age has definitely caught up with him this year, he has only shown glimpses of his former glories. Physically he has always defied the normal expectations of the role. he would be the perfect captain of a young, talented Bulls team; but that isn't the current position. As ever, I guess it would all depend on what renumeration he would want to decide whether he was value for money.
