Agreed. Also got to remember a lot of fans seem to have got their tickets from Wakey.

| Quote: Bulliac "When I was at Odsal at nine O'clock this morning, they were doing card sales as though it was the customer doing an internet purchase and keying in the details [and security no.] by hand into a computer, so no pin to input and no printed receipt.
Decided to get a stand ticket, with a full ground [which it looks like being] it's the best view. A belle vue, one might almost say..'"
Well they told me it might be a few days before the transaction goes through, which I took to mean that they're taking card details to put through at a later date, the post by someone else on here who still hasn't been charged for Leigh away would seem to back up that theory.

I guess that's possible BB, it could have just been put into a database rather than making it an on-line purchase, I just saw what happened and assumed.

| It wasn't until after that it occurred to me that I'd just handed over my card details without asking or receiving a receipt which is why I assumed the transaction hadn't gone through yet. I guess in most other situation it would be a bit of a daft thing to do! Though defrauding your own supporters isn't a good business model so hopefully all will be fine!

| There will be no segregation on the standing terraces this weekend. Confirmed by the club via Twitter this evening.

| I'd hate to think they were writing down card details to input later. Hopefully they will destroy these lists securely. (But there again I am a glass half-empty type)

Sounds like they're wanting Bulls fans to head to the Western terrace, but without some sort of official announcement I suspect it will descend into chaos.

Surely they wouldn't send out tickets without confirming payment?! That's ridiculous and stupid!!

I was struggling to think of another reason why I was told it might be later in the week before the transaction was made? I guess they have peoples details if payment failed for some reason.

I've just said that too a mate of mine this game will more remembered for that stupid situation that's brewing than than the game on the pitch. Well if it does decent into a farce it might make the RFL make the MPG in future be played at a neutral venue.

| Well according to the Wakey board stewards will be on hand to direct us all to the western terrace. Reckon they will be at least 3k Bulls supporters so I hope they have plenty of stewards and it is well organised.
I don't have a problem with seperating the fans after last time, plus it will be a highly charged atmosphere.
just hope it's well organised.

I read the same thing but took it as they would advise but it wouldn't be forced.

| They can't force us into western terrace because the tickets we have purchased in good faith don't state this stipulation on them. The Leeds standing tickets tell you where you will be stood and is doubly stated that unless it is a south stand ticket you have no admittance in there.

| Memory isn't what it used to be but didn't membership of the SL imply some basic standard for the clubs ground? And how have Wakey been getting round it?
Looks like a strong case for automatic promotion for the Bullsicon_smile.gif

| I bought tickets for the recent game with Wakefield online on their web-site. As suggested by the club for away fans I entered the ground through the western terrace turnstiles, and there was no problem with this at all despite having a "Wakefield" ticket.
There is no segregation as such between the west and north terraces (unless they recruit a load of extra stewards for this weekend), but the Fax fans did congregate on the west and left the north to Wakefield. In the cup game, we were on the north terrace (but I think the west terrace was closed?) - no problems that I saw, just plenty of good-natured banter - more at stake with this game though!
3000+ fans on the west terrace? No cover (except at the southern end) and it'll be a bit of a tight squeeze in a place with a pretty rubbish view of the game. I suspect a significant proportion may drift towards the north stand which is marginally better in terms of actually seeing the game.
East stand is seating, with a rubbish view on a small terrace in front. South "stand" is those horrible looking boxes that probably have a really good view of the game.
The tannoy is very clear and annoyingly very (very, very) loud.
Put aside what's gone before, and do the Championship proud!!! Hard as it is for me as a Fax fan, I'll be behind you all the way on Saturday.
The only downside if you win will be a trip to Belle Vue next season.....
