I think we're moving into the realms of fantasy now Pike....

By the way, doubt any of L'Estrange, Kearney, Lulia or Purtell would be released, all quality players.'"
But out of those 4 only one has a serious medical condition that may force either his retirement or the club's hand in regards to a release. Not that I want to see that happen, mind you. I hope Purtell gets fit and healthy and is able to resume his Bradford career. All I'm saying is we need to be pragmatic about these things and we can't allow sentiment to cloud judgement.

| I notice that both Carvell and Bridge do not appear to be in favour at Warrington. I think both would be useful buys.]

| Carvell is first choice at wire, Bridge has been in and out this year - may be an option for 6? I know it is not the position he has played since going to warrington but in our juniors that was his natural position.

You clearly have no knowledge of the game as Carvell is first choice prop at wire
And bridge wouldn't touch bulls with a barge pole, did u not know bridge was once a bull? And got treated like crap and wasn't good enough at Bradford.
He wouldn't leave the challenge cup winners for Bradford bulls!

| Bridge was one of juniors who Noble sold cheap just like atkins. I said Carvell was first choice in response to previous poster who said he was out of favour.
Bridge has been in and out of the wire side this year and even played at loose forward when he has played. His younger brother is on the books there and he would prob hang about until he gets chance to play with him. Bridge left under a bit of a cloud and he strikes me as somone who would want to be playing every week so there may be a chance he could leave.

Really? Would you like to expand on that?
Or shall I wait for somebody who nose what's going on to tell you what really happened.

| What's happening with olbison? Addy? Donaldson? Ainscough? Thought bulls were trying to secure the services of the young players? I'd have thought these guys would have been signed straight away so mr khan could calculate what other money he had to offer other bigger signings

Yeah, Bridge left, as a teenager, after some disciplinary issues caused concern to the then management and I'm not sure he was even 'sold' to be honest. His ability was never in doubt though, and he's played well for Wire and seems to have settled down to the rigours being a pro athlete, for which he deserves some credit, imo.
None of which applied to Atkins, who was simply not in contention for a spot, in a very strong side, when he left to get opportunities elsewhere. On the basis of you can't keep 'em all, and without the use of 20/20 hindsight, it was probably the right deal at the time, for both parties. Not sure either would be available any time soon, but there would be serious competition for Atkins if he wanted away, imo.
