Giants probably aren't looking at setting SL 'alight'. More likely aiming to be in the top 8 - they have a very decent chance of doing so. I think all 5 guys can do a job and give us some depth. Giants not solely relying on these guys. hopefully players like Mamo, Cudjoe, Brough, Mcgilvray, Hinchcliffe, Rapira Taai etc can deliver.

I hope you do have a club this year and beyond. As for karma, the Giants are not such a bad club and there are many others far more guilty for the Bulls demise.

Aye, some seem to take what you say on Twitter as gospel and that's been known to fuel a fair few rumours.

The way the RFL have handled this situation is basically leaving the door open for a sugar daddy to take over the club or no one. It really gives no room for anything else. Starting from scratch would allow for the costs to be managed and the club to start and be sustainable. In the Championship with half a squad, less than a month till the season starts and sod all funding is giving out the message from the RFL that they are happy for a unsustainable club to be started up aslong as it means their fixture list isn't messed up.

Btw we know that all monies paid before Administration for season tickets have long since gone, what about those that were bought during administration? Surely the administrator can't go spending that money. At Bradford City money received during the admin was always kept to one side incase the worst happened. Someone on here the other day said their last instalments for season tickets were taken on the day the club announced liquidation.

Of course the administrator can spend that money.

Any money that comes in to the club while it's in administration is used to pay bills, pay wages etc. It's essentially the administrator's job to keep the club going during that period, so any income is used for that purpose. It'll likely all have been spent.

So after a weekend away and not looking every 10 minutes at this feed, and haven't got time to read 20 pages, can someone help and tell me what on earth happened to the deal that Thorne/Richardson/Green had allegedly done with Pettit before the official papers to put us in liquidation had been served. Has their been any confirmation or further information?

I tweeted about it last night but Batley are splitting the gate money with the players and staff that haven't been paid.

The admission prices are £10 adults and £5 children, so not too unrealistic to hope for a crowd of 2000.

Because the administrator has sold the kits, logo, intellectual property to the Bradford Bulls. Batley have arranged for a special Bradford shirt in the Red Amber and Black hoops that will be worn by Rohan Smith's Bradford Select side.

Which after the game will be auctioned off at £100 a shirt with all money raised going towards the gate receipts which Batley Bulldogs chairman Kevin Nichols will hand to Rohan Smith after the game.

This is why Rugby League is the greatest game. Fact.
