The cynic in me is thinking that this is a forced response to the negative reaction to this morning's article.
Nothing wrong with that it if is, of course, just how I'm viewing it right now.
The wording is also a bit vague. Could be squad related, but maybe something else entirely?

This year's slogan. We Don't Quit.
I can't see it catching on, personally.

I disagree. Despite the completely gratuitous abuse yet again needlessly coming from a certain poster, (of which I must say I am becoming pretty fed up - do we really need this?) the reason I restricted my remarks to Addy's 2 missed kicks was because the first was a conversion attempt, so whether it went over or not didn't change the course of the game in any way, and I am of course assuming that if the second kick had gone over, we would have been able to see the match out. The latter is, of course, not 100% certain but given the time left on the clock it will do for me.
I know you were just being facetious, but actually, alternatives like your "also's" don't wash, and aren't comparable; because (for example) if Blythe had scored, then it would have resulted in a kick-off restart, and the entire course of the rest of the game would have been completely different. So it would just be speculation.
The stuff about "if we'd scored more tries than them" is not argument, but banality, and I expect better from you. I don't know why you pretend not to understand the point, but let me ask YOU then; if Addy's last kick had put us if front, do you think we would have won? What percentage chances do you think there would have been for Wakey to save the game?

I thought there was going to be a new sponsor announcement at the weekend. Maybe this is it?

The way things are going at the moment my friend, it seems like the most likely way I have of being able to watch top flight football next season.
DUFC were doing ok until we hired a manager called McNamara. You really just could not make it up.

I think you're trying to argue that what happened over the whole season had no bearing on the MPG i.e that you've come to the conclusion there is no relationship between form and performance. You've deconstructed a game of hundreds of incidents and focussed upon the two kicks whilst ignoring that Wakefield had a try ruled out for the most marginal of forward passes and Arundel missed an easier kick than either of Addy's, plus countless other significant moments.
We lost because we were the poorer of two very poor teams and had we recruited even slightly better (as evidenced by the stats of our bench) then we would likely have won. Here's one for you - Moore made 90m and Baille made 10m and missed 4 tackles (one of which led to a try I think).

| Not at all. Of course the season had a big bearing. I am saying without any player playing nay better or anything else whatsoever being done differently or happening differently, the result would have been reversed had Addy's kicks gone in.
You can of course make a whole host of arguments and theories about personnel, team selection, recruitment and all the rest and those are perfectly valid theories to discuss but all debateable. No certainty. Sure, we could have done things a lot different and a lot better. But what we did would have ended up good enough but for the serendipity of a ball twice going wrong side of a post. Anyway that is the point. I have made it more than enough times so I will not re-re-re-re--explain it again.

That's worth repeating.
Your advice to those other posters that complain about this is to give such posters foe status. Or, as the like button has disappeared, has that gone too? ...No it hasn't, just found it for the first time, and yes it is still there.
So you do not need to read it. which makes you a gratuiitous self-abuser.

Nah, dear old Eddie isn't foe material, I look forward to his posts. He is amusing, even though he doesn't know it, and he makes some valid points. I mean, I can't remember the last one, in truth, but I'm sure there must have been one. The place would be much the poorer if deprived of his often entertaining if unintelligible drivel.
