| Quote: Bullnorthern ""I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone. We don't know what's happening and it's the uncertainty that makes it worse.
A direct quote from FC taken from Sky Sports website today.
So it's clear that nobody is providing that openness/transparency that all parties have at one time or another promised. It's frustrating being a supporter but how much more so if you're a player/ coaching staff/ admin staff member?
I'm not holding my breath that the local media will press the owner and the former directors for clarity. No doubt we will be treated to another tale of how well pre season training is going'"
The problems faced by the situation, which seems to be the chaos theory unfolding in the public domain, is that not even those at the sharp end will understand everything that is actually happening. So for us mortal fans to understand everything is doubly impossible. We ask for the "Truth" and "Transparency" and accuse people of lying.
As a question! What is the truth that we seek, because everybody has differing perceptions of what they expect the truth to be. Lies have the same rules
So it is with transparency, your expected transparency will be different to mine and so on.
You are I suspect right on the button when you say those at the actual sharp end in the club, are frustrated with the whole situation, absolutely peed off is probably a better way to put it.
All we can hope for is that someone in the position of making things happen, chooses the right path, and the chaos begins to dissipate. We cannot say who was/is the Mr or Mrs right at this moment?
A crystal ball is required urgently????

The bloke deserves a medal in my opinion.
Don't get me wrong everyone has a right to decide how they spend they're money but all these people saying they're going to ask for their season ticket money back or aren't going to games because of what's going on in my opinion miss the point.
I'm not going to Odsal to support the board of directors.

| Rarebreed -- sorry if my posting was unclear . I don't intend to join a philosophical debate about the meaning and perception of truth as I accept your analysis. I was merely expressing my frustration that so many of the parties have professed a belief in openess yet are so quiet. Simply stated I would expect that :
1. The resigning directors would have spoken to the players and staff rather than just issuing a statement on Christmas Eve
2. The owner would have done the same once those resignations had occurred
Macbull- totally agree regarding FC and your strictures to those who intend to boycott matches-- if the Bulls do take to the field in February I'll be there regardless of ownership or directors.o
One final point--
When the date for any Bullbuilder / Supporters meeting is confirmed please publicise on this forum

| If we don’t make the start it will cost the other clubs money. I read a debate somewhere about:
 Would the RFL simply use it as a way or reducing the league by one?
 Would each team continue to get the £60k of ours if we are not there? If they don’t, they may have budgeted for it.
 Teams would miss out on a decent away following at their lost home games with us – on top of no away support from London and Catalan.
 It was stated that Leeds would lose about £100k by not playing us at Headingly and a championship team came in – they wouldn’t get 18,000 gate with a championship team? Add the £60k and Leeds lose about £160k if we don’t start – the wages of two of their players?
 If a new team came in would they also get the £60k or would it be stopped for all?
 If we didn’t start and weren’t replaced would supporters want a refund on their season tickets at other clubs as there is one less home game? If Leeds dropped out would I want a refund for that missing home game – I am sure some would!
When you look at these types of questions it is clear that the RFL are in a potential mess if we drop out before the start as a replacement would not be ready to take our spot.

| If anyone craves attention on the internet, go and look what Omar has changed his twitter bio to.
He may be the man who saved the bulls from the brink, but what he does next is going to be even more pivotal to the future of the club

|  Would the RFL simply use it as a way or reducing the league by one?
They could but it would mean a reduction in games and teams getting a bye
 Would each team continue to get the £60k of ours if we are not there? If they don’t, they may have budgeted for it.
I'd imagine they would get more, they would get the rest of the Bradford share (the other £500k) probably to make up for the lack of a home game.
 Teams would miss out on a decent away following at their lost home games with us – on top of no away support from London and Catalan.
Outside of Leeds and Yorkshire not sure how significant the away support would be, but the home game would be a loss. Hence why if it happened I'd imagine the rest of the SL cash would need to be spread out.
 It was stated that Leeds would lose about £100k by not playing us at Headingly and a championship team came in – they wouldn’t get 18,000 gate with a championship team? Add the £60k and Leeds lose about £160k if we don’t start – the wages of two of their players?
I think if Bradford left the SL no other team would come in at this late stage.
 If a new team came in would they also get the £60k or would it be stopped for all?
I doubt a new team could take Bradfords place at this stage.
 If we didn’t start and weren’t replaced would supporters want a refund on their season tickets at other clubs as there is one less home game? If Leeds dropped out would I want a refund for that missing home game – I am sure some would!
I think most season tickets offer 2 or 3 free games so I doubt many would refund.
When you look at these types of questions it is clear that the RFL are in a potential mess if we drop out before the start as a replacement would not be ready to take our spot.
I would prefer Bradford to stay in some form, but if they left it would not be a killer blow.

Quote: Rarebreed "Much obliged Adey, I suppose the fact that we have in place some form of contingency plan with a supporters trust fully operational ,if not yet in action, at least gives us some form of negotiating stance with the RFL and whoever takes the helm at the Bulls. ie BB is a stakeholder of an historical nature. Which incidentaly was an absolute godsend in helping to save the Bulls in 2012. All at Bullbuilder at the time deserved our thanks for the efforts, which is why I say they are still Stakeholders in many peoples eyes.'"

Interesting interview with the chairman of Portsmouth FC's community trust. Including the joys of being spat at

| What annoys me is anyone from anywhere posting stupid unresearched kneejerk trite opinions that simplify a very complex situation. And simply repeat what we already know, so not taking the debate any further.
For example, the Pledge season ticket prices. The low price of course was the headline. Lets look at it further. they would be that price only if a certain number of pledge were received ie low price x high volume = right amount of money. BUT there were also a number of other initiatives iirc at the same time, lifetime season tickets for a large lump of cash, half a lifetime season tickets for slightly more than half a lump of cash etc etc, I remember a big debate about who had and hadnt received personal invites from Peter Hood to sell their houses and live at Odsal for ever. So it wasnt just a simple drop the prices and hope, there was a trigger without which it did not make business sense. but most recent posts from offcumdens ignore this, probably because the posters are ignorant of the full details.
hindsight is truly 100% accurate. I did not support the Hood fund raiser because I felt it was the wrong thing to do. My analysis, which appeared a long time ago and anyone keen enough can find it in my previous posts complete with graphs etc etc, shows that the economic social and cultural trends are all adverse to support for the Bulls. So the only way was to escape the Odsal black hole with a complete new start Which brings me to a final point raised iirc by Herr Rigby. Amateur RL will survive, but looking at the recent academy and u16 England squads, I dont recall anyone from a local Bradford amateur club in the 71 names, which is another real worry for both Bradford amateur RL and the Bulls, the two feed each other, but perhaps yet another adverse trend that those wanting to own and run the club need to be aware of.
