So either ac offered to sell, or someone offered to invest, maybe a month ago, maybe a week ago. Someone is lying or not telling the whole truth, and someone is looking to maximize mischief/embarrassment.

If someone approached ac and he said no then I'm not surprised it wasn't mentioned last night. If ac approached koucash and was knocked back, I'm not surprised it wasn't mentioned last night....either way, I'm not surprised it wasn't mentioned.

Hence the phrase, more questions than answers! Someone is fibbing, maybe more than one person. Either way, I'm not filled with confidence.

I believe he did mention that he was looking for business partners, just didn't elaborate on the form that would take. I personally assumed sponsors but who knows

None of this smells right, and I think it might just be a way of on-boarding Koukash formally - lots of people think their money has been involved in some capacity all along, and it wouldn't surprise me if this was a way of starting a more public process that makes it official over the off-season!

AC offers to sell 50% and they say no thanks, they offer to buy the club AC says no thanks, and in about four weeks amicable negotiations see them come on board buying out Lowie's share - hey presto, the whole thing plays out just as planned...

You won't get anyone willing to invest at the moment anyway as they would become liable for the massive court bill you will end up with. To be fair on this one though in this instance it will show that the RFL are partly to blame for once.

The club statement was a bit silly as who wouldn't want investment? it would show they mean to move forward, SL or the Championship you need a "money guy" to get anywhere.
