He means "How did he get 405". He has two fixtures to win by a drop goal, which would still make the total and even number.

If he just had ONE fixture winning by a drop goal the overall points total would be odd (405) but if he has TWO (which he does have) then the outcome can only be an even number.

That is only if he scores every game perfectly, which is a tad unlikely.

Well, if my arithmetic is correct (dubious!) the total points scored is 317

That includes there being an odd number score in the Warrington, Widnes and Leeds games

I haven't looked it up, but I'd bet that there has never been a round of fixtures before with an odd number score in half the games

It does show that predicting a total with an odd number is actually not a bad strategy. The drop goal is increasing in value. I blame Stevo.
