Out of the blue, I got a phone call from Stuart Duffy (yes, the real one) asking how Nicole was. Stuart immediately organised for the players to sign a shirt for her and said that if there is anything they can do to help, they would! We took the shirt to Nic and although she can barely move, her mouth dropped into a massive "0" and her hand flew up to her mouth in a sort of "I can't believe this" way and she said "thank you".

I found out later that Duckman had tipped Stuart off

to him. I know he will say he hasn't done much but what he started has pleased a lifelong Bulls fan so much at a very difficult time. Likewise, Stuart had no problem sorting the shirt (and some other things) out for Nic - not sure there are many organisations that would do this!

Sounds like you've got a brave brave little girl to be proud of there Cookie, I wish her a speedy recovery.

I've got two young daughters and one of them having anything more than a cold sends me into a mild panic. Simply cannot contemplate what's going on in your life. Stay strong for her if nothing else.

Glad the club have made a gesture. Might not seem too much in the grand scheme of things but shows they really do care and sure the nipper feels important and loved which can only help.

And, if anyone from the club does read this, if Little Miss Cookie is in hospital for a while can you ensure one or two players make an organised visit. You know it makes sense.

Came on just to check out Bulls thoughts on this game with a hope you will win albeit for selfish reasons but after seeing this thread I really hope the players put in the extra affort to gain a win for Little Miss Cookie. As a parent I know this must be very trying. All the best for a full recovery.
