Is there any kind of cup tie for these mini comps?

It will be hard work agreed, but I'm not too concerned about Baldwinson, Mullaly, Golding, or Handley. The fact two of those has played for us in the past 3-4 years says it all in my view - they're distinctly average players who had their chance during the SL season, and were a major part in the awful form of Leeds. Briscoe is a different class of player, and I would be concerned about keeping him quiet. Our backs might have a tough time.

Quote: Stockwell & Smales "Apparently Gaskell, Clarke and Clough all not playing this weekend. Does the forum think this is because they are not fit, are fit but play but lacking match fitness for such an important game or are fit but Rohan does not want to play them because they are all leaving the club and don't figure in his plans? Would be interesting to hear your thoughts.'"

If that was the case then why would he keep picking Danny Addy?

If we can't beat a team with those three in it, then there isn't much point in being in the Middle 8's

Just a question regarding the increased ticket price. What are Fev going to do if the following happens?

Ground capacity is 9,850 I believe from searching internet... capacity of the Strata Stand and 70m stand approximately 2500??? (Lets say this is correct for arguments sake). This would leave the rest of the ground capacity at 7,350.

8,000 buy tickets and all rock up ready for the game... but aren't prepared to pay the £2 price to enter said stands... What are Fev going to do???

The terrace at the bottom of the slope isn't going to take us all, and i don't think the stadium H&S officer would allow to go ahead either.

My suggestion would be we get there nice and early, take over the main stand on the far side and see if they end up trying to shift us like they did at Wakey last year!!!

Clark wasnt due to be fit for this week. last report said he was due back 1st week of playoffs. Provided we have charnock available I wouldnt expect Gaskell to feature in such an important game due to lack of match fitness. Throwing him straight back in after a long layoff didnt exactly work last year. as for Clough nothings really been said about whether he's injured or not. Think RER said something after last game that suggested theres maybe been a falling out between him and club so maybe not selected even if fit.

If Fev are so desperate for money why don't they offer to throw the game for a under the counter payment. That would be better use of our bucket collections.

That was the point I was trying to make a few pages back - but not as coherently or elegantly as you.

All you Bradford fans moaning about 2 quid. It wasn't long since you were begging the rest of the rugby league for money to save your club.

We have been out of the top league for years and got by the best we can. If a club sees an opportunity to make a few extra quid then why not.

And yes we probably are desperate for money, welcome to the league you once forgot existed.

Yet another contribution that chooses to ignore the actual gripe that Bradford fans are entitled to have. icon_frustrated.gif icon_frustrated.gif icon_frustrated.gif
