it wont be easy trying to get players that are 1st team regulars especially from any other team that are likely to not be in the top 8 mix up. The top teams are most likely to have their best 20-22 settled for the season so only players on their fringe will be looking for game time and they are usually young up and coming players. So the teams will at best only wish them to go out on loan or play at their dual reg club, best option looks to be overseas players who are not in NRL shake up or class championship players

Given that Easter is notorious for causing havoc with injuries FC will be desperate to bolster the squad before then. If nothing happens before then in terms of recruitment I would start to have my reservations.

I remain relatively optimistic, for now.

depends how much changed from making his bid to being accepted, ie how much money the RFL wanted back for payments made and how little they were going to give as remaining central funding....as we all know they like to only give out partial info at any stage.....

he also might be hoping to raise a certain amount from old/new sponsors to help with team building and as yet the ink isn't dry on the paperwork. Did he plan to honour season tickets or was he going to hope for all attendees paying..??

I hope they are not been rushed back though. I also have a bad feeling ferguson will be used as a prop, meaning no new signings. I really hope I'm wrong.

It probably won't come to anything, but I hope FC enquires about Paul Wood's services from Wire. For whatever reason the guy is not getting in the Wire side and is currently playing under dual reg for Swinton.
I've always rated Paul and if we could get him on loan he would immediately become the best prop at our club.

Wood was injured in pre-season, I think that's part of/another reason why we didn't get Ben Evans.

Two words for a prop, sounds like "He blew it" ... as in Cummins should have signed this guy aaaaaages ago and didn't! Hehe!
