| On another topic - feeder clubs are going to be brought in for next season with the planned revamp of the academy system. Currently only those 6 SL clubs with a "green" youth development rating (of which we are one) can have a feeder club. The feeder agreement has to be signed , sealed & RFL approved by 31st August. No chance there then for us.

| So we need a bidder by Nov 30th or that's it.
And yes, you can bet our better players may well be on their way before then if no buyer is found but that's no surprise and they all need some certainty as they have bills to pay, this at least means they have that. Those under contract will remain so for now but I'm sure talks with others will be going on.
At least with SLE fielding the bids the process should now be clear and above board...not that it wasn't beforehand of course

Interesting. Not been thought through yet.
It would need policing as the situation would arise that Hull could bid for one of our players and HKR would have a vote on whether Bradford should accept it or not...

| Any indications what format this buyout is going to take?
Wouldn't it have to be via a CVA?
Couldn't HMRC veto that if they aren't paid enough?
If SLE do pay loads of creditors off, can we apply for a couple of points back?

| Thinking about this there is no way the other 13 clubs are just going to take on the debts and huge running costs of the Bradford Bulls.
If a buyer comes along before end of November WHO WILL TAKE ON THE DEBTS then fine. If someone is willing to take on the debts I'm sure SLE/RFL will be sympathetic when it comes to Odsal stadium & Super League licence.
If not we will have a 13 team Super League in 2013 and Bradford's TV money will be used to pay off the debts. Leaving Bradford debt free and able to start again in the lower leagues.
After all that is concluded I'm sure there will be people willing to take on the task of rebuilding Bradford.

Can't help wondering if we'll hear anything again from a couple of posters on here who were suspected of being mouthpieces for caisley.

that's about the crux of it.............you need a buyer willing to settle the debts to keep the SL licence until 2014. All SLE/RFL is done is save the debacle of having to work out what would have happened had BG carried out a liquidation of the club due to no buyer before end of season.

| Sorry to disappoint but the point of buying something off an administrator is that there are no debts. It's the administrator who deals with the debts, he pays them off out of anything left from the purchase price.
Hence my question about HMRC.

| Amazing Move and will come as very welcome news to such other benefactors as John Wilkinson, David Hughes, Ken Davy etc etc who are now protected against loss by the RFL.
I dont think the RFL have thought this through.

No you are quite wrong -what you say would apply if the club is liquidated but this move ensures that will not now happen.
Administration is about finding a buyer who can settle the debts - the chief aim of the administrator is to protect the creditors.
The other 13 clubs now take on the debts of Bradford Bulls and IMO the clubs will not want that to be anything other than a temporary situation. Either a buyer comes along willing to pay off the debts or Bradford's TV money will be used instead with the Bulls no longer in Super League.
