| Did anyone else read into the comment about 'Jamie Langley being more valuable to the Bradford Bulls than to other clubs' (or words to that effect) meaning we could have some more ex players back

| Well worth the visit. I thought the panel did an excellent job. Peter Hood came across as an intelligent honest Gentleman. The future looks brighter and maybe the away shirts future is orange.

Saw Leon Pryce leaving stadium road, as I was turning down it, probably something to do with the kids teams training on the pitch near Odsal rather than having anything to do with the Bulls.

| Quote: ex Bull Dog "Great news re Langers as posted before. There were some incapable of hearing what the club is trying to achieve as mentioned by Dilligaf. The insights by Paul Medley were particularly helpful e.g. when he addressed the fitness question by telling us how many of the squad were fit to fully train. The overview of the training facilities was particularly encouraging and hopefully we will make hay with this before others catch up. I'd wanted to know about this and whether they had 3G astroturf (something I've trained on and is excellent) to be told Tong has 4G!!?
Warm weather training is something the team has missed for that early season prep IMO and should reflect well in results.
Also the explanation of the dynamics of junior rugby was good, why the UK is not producing decent outside backs because of the failings of the amateur game in the winter, was something that hadn't occurred but makes perfect sense
Glad I went'"
Defo right about Medders' insight. I learned quite a bit there. I thought he dealt very well with the prophet of doom near the end.
I've seen the Tong facility. It was my question, as I was keen to hear the wider club view on it (especially regarding the finances and commercial reasoning) not just what I'd already heard from Medders (who, lets be fair, would sing its praises!). Learned quite a bit more as a result, all positive, and I can confirm the description given was highly accurate. Its impressive.

Here lies the problem with me.. The talk has been talked for a fairly long time now (at previous forums etc.). This is why i wasn't really interested in attending. Well done to the club for putting it on and good news about langley.
I'll be waiting for the walk! But not a Wigan one.

Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

I bet the place was in total uproar after that pearler.

| A very informative forum, I came out feeling more positive about the future then I have for a long time. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new season ticket offers are and to our exciting new signings. Oh and to the new away strip, whatever colour it will be!
I have the whole thing typed up into an a kind of unintelligible set of text messages if anyone wants then sending.

| Well that's encouraging, given you've been the harbinger of imminent doom for a while now!
Just a shame there will always be one or two carrion crows who will likely be gutted to hear things like that, but I think the club made a good stab at communicating last night - albeit they moved the bar for delivery up a bit too so they'll have their work cut out!

19829_1320257469.gif Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19829.gif |

| I was in two minds whether to attend, glad I did. Just a couple of points, I think Stuart Duffy should maybe combine similar questions as certain subjects were covered two or three times. But the point I found most interesting was the one about the poorly attended shirt presentation night, if I had organised an event, and judging by the low volume of interest I was receiving wouldn't it have been wise to re-send information as a reminder rather than just pulling the plug on the event.

To be fair, I saw loads advertised about that particular event. The woman who was moaning about not knowing about it, presumably had gone away for a couple of months to some remote island where there was no communication. I'd seen it in various places, I just didn't want to part with the fiver to attend the museum for it, which I suspect was the main reason why tickets weren't sold. I don't think awareness of the event was an issue at all.

13554.jpg The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

Apparently the BBC are remaking Billy Bunters Schooldays and Mick has the starring role as his stunt double! So he was not available due to studio commitments

| I heard Mick was sat outside James Child's house with a sniper rifle, but James never went to a window.
Unless Mick had aged by about 50 years and was sat right down the front, I can't believe he was there. He would have said something when the discussion about referees came up.
