Maybe yeh. Good to have a few irons in the fire as they say.
Which name have you heard.
Just to add a bit more fuel to the fire, the rl press is reporting that Brierley hasnt travelled to Toronto with the rest of the playing squad in preparation for their up coming home games
Edit: additional members of the rl press are stating we have been priced out of signing Brierley.

| If not Brierley then someone. Watching our current attack is painful. We must be one of the easiest teams to defend against. All we seem to do is pass the ball down the line til we run out of pitch (straighten up and perhaps occasionally try dummy runners, it's an alien concept but it would be useful!)

| I'd be after Dom Brambani.
Not the glamour signing that some are wanting, but a good organiser with an excellent kicking game and he'd help bring on our young halfbacks.
Plus JK knows him very well from his time at Batley and he suits his style of play.

| Dom would be my choice if he was available for all the reasons stated. Plus he's another Bradford lad.

| I've read that Dom Brambani's contract is up at the end of the year. I think that Brierley will end up on loan at Leigh as they seem short of bodies.

| To be fair that’s Toronto’s problem. They can either sell him and pay a % of his wages and we pick up the rest or they can pay all of it for a player they don’t want and are unlikely to play

| What's Brierley ever done except get shipped out of every club he's been at? He's a decent player when he wants to be but something isn't right.

| I don't really see the point of swapping out Chisholm for Brierley
You're not really getting anything better in terms of organising, whilst replicating the shortcomings. It would be an odd one to me.

| Needs to be a decent class older head. Now that is not always easy at this stage in the season, BUT the right lad will come up soon, as the season moves on. Brierley is not good enough, nor sufficiently experienced and wouldwant too much money. What Keir needs is an old head, with lots of value on and off the field. It's a shame Jarrod Sammut was snatched up........but you never know by July, things may have changed at Wigan and Jarrod might just need a move to set up the next era of his career.
Plus.....of course Leon is now available and the right man might just come to work with him as Asst Coach.......food for thought.

Atkin was one I thought of too, but I'm not sure where he features in KR's plans going forward. They probably won't want to lose him.
