That isn't much is it. 6lbs. Lose that in 3 weeks. Less if you're a lardy like me.

Yeah I personally thought whats the point surely if thats spare to lose it will come off during a full time pre season anyway. Unless they are wanting to make sure he comes back at least as fit as he is now for pre season training?

If Leigh are fortunate enough to go up and it is at Hull KR's expense I would hope Mr Beaumont is on the phone to Clark to try and sign him up. Liked what I have seen of him at the Bulls this season.

I'd guess it's more about mental attitude.
If he's not bothered/prepared to put the effort in to lose that piddling amount before he comes to training why would we want to offer someone with such a weak, 'don't care less', attitude a professional contract?

Isn't it a bit late for that?
However, he looks like a strong runner, and we all know how having good fitness can transform players.
Baloo was supposedly a fatty boom boom before he came to us and ended up without an ounce of fat on him and one of the leagues better props for a number of seasons.
Hope Ross goes the same way if it's true that he is carrying a few extra lbs.

I'm gonna make sure all links are severed and old Deggsy keeps his grubby mitts off.

| Ok so here are Peltier's highlights if anyone is interested.
I mean, the very first clip in the highlight reel is absolutely ridiculous
Edit: I just watched the whole thing
My god, who said we needed some grunt up front?

| From that highlights video he looks like a strong lad. Busts a lot of tackles and gains a lot of metres, albeit against weak opposition. Think I'm looking forward to seeing him in a Bulls shirt.

| He looks a bit of a beast doesn't he! The thing I like most is that whilst he is a big bloke he also looks to be pretty fast too. Decent offload and step on him. Could be an ideal Mitch Clark replacement.
I refuse to allow myself to get too excited about potential signings based on youtube clips after some of our experiences in the last 2 years. However this guy looks very promising.
So, props wise so far for 2017 we are Sidlow, Kavanagh, Magrin, Peltier and Kirk?

| Don't know much about him but we're in need of props and he looks a big unit.
Hopefully he is a grafter aswell and as others have said, none of us thought Clark would do quite as well as he has so you never know.
Full time environment and a bit leaner over off season, I do have more faith in Rohan's judgement when it comes to signings as so far he hasn't put a foot wrong in that respect.

That would make even more sense

I'm not too bothered about him being a grafter. We have plenty of them in Sidlow, Kavanagh, Haggerty etc
We need someone who has an impact and rattles a few cages. From the highlights he looks that sort of prop. Definitely reminds me of Mitch Clark in that he looks to run as hard as he can and won't just break the tackle, he'll try and break it.

Probably a daft question but who's Kirk? Apologies if I'm being dim again.

Academy lad Liam Kirk. One of the six that were awarded first team contracts a few weeks ago. Never seen him play myself but have read he is a prop.
With him, Peltier and Magrin being fairly young i'd like to see one more experienced prop to complete the set.
Kavanagh is starting to impress me now he has had a decent run of games.
