| We'll win them all, you watch - and still miss out because one of the "top" teams will mysteriously lose to Crusaders or Quins last day of the regular season.
Or we'll go to Wakey having just to win to make the 8, and lose.
Nailed on.

| Unfortunately for us, you need to string more than one good performance together to make an impression in the play offs. Perhaps scraping into the play offs might feel like we've made progress. That feeling might not last long though after we're on the ending of a hammering in the 1st round though.
Perhaps Potter will now give a few players a chance to impress for a new deal. If he picks the likes of Ah Van again over Royston/Crookes/Ainscough I will begin to question his judgement to be honest. He wasn't alone missing the tackles, he was in good company on Sunday. But can you say he put in the same effort as Raynor? Not even near and by the looks he was getting off his own teammates yesterday they undoubtedly agree. Good job we have a 2 week break because I am thoroughly p!ssed off after that 'effort' from the team.

Oh for a first round hammering though

| I don't know why he hasn't been picked as I'd have tried any combination that didn't have Marc Herbert and Paul sykes in the team. Maybe the wins at Leeds, the draw at home to Saint told Potter we were progressing and after the win against Giants you could see his point. People will say it's easy with hindsight but enough posters on here have said for months that either Briggs should have stayed at 7 or that Kearney should have gone to stand off with Shad at FB. Briggs got injured and who knows what goes on in training but it feels like a bad call from Potter.

If we win three of our remaining four games, which is not exactly unfeasible as we can beat Hull KR, Crusaders and Wakefield, then we'll be on 24 points. That might just conceivably be enough.
It's unlikely, but against all reasonable sense of what's deserved, we could still make the 8. For that reason alone, you can't expect Mick Potter to come out now and write off the season
Of course, if we lose against HKR then its officially all over

Well said.

Apparently Shad is frequently late to training etc - I agree his performance warrant selection but maybe it's an internal disciplinary issue? (i'm sure it is)
