The RFL want to play 2 rounds of the league over the Easter period, and the only way to do that is not to play any games on the Saturday or Sunday to give teams enough turn around time. Sky show (at least) 2 games per round and so to fit in with their schedules always pull one game forward to Thursday and push one game back to Tuesday.

or at least thats how it used to work before they decided to stick the hull derby on good friday too. so they now show 3 games from 1st round and only 1 from 2nd round. They stopped showing tuesday game last year. Why they couldnt put hull derby on the monday and still show tuesday game is beyond me. |
