| Working behind a bar in Leeds sh*t loads of years ago Willie John McBride and the Ulster team came in after a game v Yorkshire (Ok it was Union)
He saw that Bushmills was on the optics and asked for a large one. So I served him a double measure.
He looked distainfully at the glass and then at me. "Little man" he said "Put the glsss under the mean thiing and i'll tell you when to stop"
So six measures in the glass
Wife was make-up artist for the Bulls Pantomime show a few years ago. She walked into the dressing room and said to Lesle, Withers and Big Red "Ok, Its time I touched you all up"

| With Dev from Coronation Street on a long train journey... he isn't acting in Corrie.

| Anyway, since the OP is from Ilkley, why can't he change the thread to the grammatically correct "Famous people with whom you have been stuck"?
You can take the boy out of Castleford. . .

19829_1320257469.gif Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19829.gif |

| I was once stuck next to Terry Newton for about 10 minutes at the bar in the Skyrack waiting to be served, we exchanged the usual grumbles people do when waiting to be served for ages - he was there before me but, despite that, I managed to push in and get served first.
At this point a Saints fan would no doubt imagine that he attacked me, leaving me in hospital fighting for my life. But he didn't.
I once also ended up at the urinal next to former City player and convicted armed robber Jamie Lawrence in Queens Hall after City had won 1-0 at Barnsley in the 98/99 promotion season. I told him it was a good win but he hadn't had the best of games - he obviously didn't take it too much to heart as he then bought me a pint.
Last week I apparently ate at the table next to a famous Colombian actress in a restaurant in Bogota. No idea what her name was, but the Colombian I was with was a little starstruck.

Second: I booked a seat on the supporters coach to the Bronco`s match at Brentford not all that long ago, there were still a few spare seats on the the coach and it was just about time top go when Trevor Foster got on the coach (the team had gone a day or so earlier and he couldn`t go then) and he asked if the vacant seat next to me was free. I thought you would have had to win some big competition for something like this, what a bloke...what a journey. The wife sat somewhere further back............................
I used to give Sir Trevor lifts home from BISA meetings. Indeed what a superb guy.

| Was paying for petrol at Northampton Services when Sir Cliff Richard walked and asked where the toilets were. The guy behind the counter, recognising him pointed in the direction. As soon as the door to the lav was closed he announced to everyone in the shop that he'd just realised that he had been in 5 minutes earlier and he hoped that Sir Cliff didn't mind the smell!!!
I got back to the car where I was telling my mates what happened when he walked out and got into a Range Rover with none other than Cilla Black in the passenger seat.

I can remember once giving him a lift to a BISA meeting and realising just how big the bloke was as he tried to squeeze into my fiesta
