| There were times when each club arranged their own fixtures too. Pre-playoffs, it was decided on percentage of wins from games played.
This is the real reason why Leeds have won more games than anyone else on this side of the hill. Everyone wanted a home fixture against them for the crowd. Same deal for Wigan on t'other side.

I remember the percentage formula - which certainly had some logic to it, though I can't remember the Leeds and Wigan thing.
Some things I do remember about Yorks and Lancs leagues was there was an imbalance between the clubs with more Yorkshire teams than Lancs, so around four Yorkshire teams actually agreed to play in the Lancs league - I remember Batley doing this for quite a while. All the Cumbrian sides were originally in the Lancs league, even Fulham were given entry into the Lancashire cup - and we thought they were a new team!

But then playoffs on top which is potentially another 6/7 games too unless it went to who finishes top wins it!

I hope you have watched the last two Hull games, If so, you should be very excited about the prospect of signing Pryce.

Indeed. Thought he was excellent tonight. I certainly would love to see Pryce back here. Need an old head in middle and he proved tonight he can still do it.

| I'd sign Pryce all day long and even now he's a better player, imo, than anything we have including Gaskell. He could give us 2/3 years good service and help us get back up.Hope Smith has a good, solid NRL scrum half up his sleeve to partner Pryce, should he sign for us.

| I didn't want to start up a new thread so I thought I'd bring it up in here. What has happened to Rhys Lovegrove?! He's been missing since the cup defeat at Dewsbury. The T & A reported back in April that he suffered a 'heavy concussion' but is still yet to even feature in the 19 squad as far as I'm aware.

Still can't pass test to allow him to play again.

| He was seeing a specialist AFAIK as he has had a number of concussions. Think he was out for London for a while with a similar issue. Still part of squad as I've seen him at matchdays.

| So. Retention seems to have taken a turn for the worst today. T&A reporting that Ferguson (Huddersfield) and Gaskell (Huddersfield or Leigh) are likely to be going as things stand. Addy & Clark seem to be confirmed as HKR bound.

| Ross certainly seems to enjoy deflating any good feelings around the camp, doesn't he?
