| Quote: paulwalker71 "It's all sounding positive.
Surely no surprise that they want clarity over the ground, as they'll surely want to develop the Coral Stand into some sort of banqueting suite for weddings, conferences etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they want to even expand the Coral Stand and have something that can host huge events.
Incidentally, I was finding out more about the guy who runs Akbars, and found this on the Bradford College Alumni site
With that attitude. I'd welcome him with open arms'"

| A friend of mine was the architect on the Coral stand and one of the considerations in the design of the stand was for a use for large Asian weddings.

| There's no reason the Coral stand couldn't be utilised through the week as a restraunt, aside the location it would be a good facility for a restraunt and event facilities.

| Yeahh. I know one of groups that helped build the Coral Stand and Touchdown. He (Mick Dunn) and his group built our house among others.

They will/have looked at the Bulls ground sharing VP.
At least the Bulls will continue if this went ahead?'"
They'd struggle to get that agreed by Friday. I just cannot see how they could get the assurances they would need in time for a radical solution.

| Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "Why, what return has the club made on the Coral Stand? I wasn't aware that any figures had been ever released, but would be very interested to see them.'"
Normally hopitality or conference facilities need to be used for at least 300 days a year to generate a return. From memory I think the Bulls paid over £2m cash for the stand? Not a scientific answer I admit but some technical customers of the company I work for have used the stand on a number of occasions for "road-shows" and apart from being surprised there was no wireless network in the building said they were told when booking it was usually empty during the week. Also and again I think this has been mentioned on a number of threads during the current crisis - during games most of the seats in the Coral are empty - might be something to do with the weather? - but certainly this year apart from last weekend and the Rhino's fixture from the terrace at least the Coral looks relatively empty. So if used on match days - say 20 times a year, and then say on another 100 days? - they will I think be way short of even covering the operating costs - rates, heating, cleaning, staff etc. So no I have not seen any actual figures but would deduce that the net income generated has been less than expected when the cheque was being handed to the builders? So if you could start getting say 80%+ utilisation - as seems to be part of the interested parties plans - then you could be some of the way to finding the missing £100k a month.

| BG has just said three offers were withdrawn one afternoon once they had seen the books.
And that the potentional investors have insisted no young players are sold.
