| It was a decent highlights too - enough to get at least a bit of a feel for the game, although still obviously a poor substitute for being there. We did look pretty good, I thought. Beaver's try was a cracker! Oldest man in the game and he ran much of the length of the park - and he was hardly what you could call "in space" when he took the brilliantly-read intercept.
Big rap for the travelling fans - could hear the singing and chanting very clearly.

I was getting exactly the same, and it's worked fine before, so I don't think it's your setting I'm pretty sure it was at BCB's end that things weren't working.

It wasn't working on my internet radio during the game, but I forgot I'd left it on and wondered why I could hear Caribbean music coming from my bedroom at 8pm last night!

| Great game, the boys made it look easy. Cummings the video ref gave them their first try. They didn't look like scoring another one for most of the first half.
The players all looked very happy after the game and everyone looked healthy in the airport the next morning - one or two of the younger ones looked a little tired though! Some of them stayed on a couple of days for a bit of golf in the sun. R&R all round should see the team looking fresh and confident for the trip to Dewsbury.

| I didn't have a problem with the VR decision to be honest. He seemed to put the ball down just before he touched the flag. We defended well throughout and always looked secure and the only time Catalans looked like doing anything was early in the second half when we seemed give away a penalty in most of the Dragons sets. I think this is something that Macca needs to look at to be honest and it's not the first time this season that we have got on the wrong side of referees for long periods of a match.
Menzies was outstanding in the centres and the way he put Rikki through was just class imo. Absolutely no passengers in the team and everyone shaped up, never really allowing the Dragons to get up a head of steam. It was brilliant to silence their usually vociferous crowd too. Just hoping we can sort out the penalty problem and kick on, five from six over Easter is a good basis for putting pressure on the teams above us in the league.

| quick question, if lynchy hadn't grounded his try over the try line like he did, would a try still been awarded for him crashing the ball into the goal posts? the only reason I ask is that in union If an attacking player is first to ground the ball against a goal post or padding, a try is scored. The goal posts and padding surrounding them are part of the goal line.
Cheers

Hmmm, interesting one.
I have a vague recollection of a similar rule for league......could be wrong though.
Can't even remember any occasion this has even come up in a game

Have you got that from the rules or is it a guess?

It is the rules, IIRC we had one chalked off for that reason earlier in the season. Funnily enough I think it was Lynchy as well!! I always liked the idea of the American football posts that Hunslet used a few years back, they didn't get in the way. The flatcappers of the time got them outlawed though.
