I think I have now found your motivation in being so bitter.
How was I patronising?
I pointed out FACTS to highlight the crap you were spouting about Sean O'loughlin (which you have completely ignored btw).
Then why didn't you say that is what you were doing? You were making a general statement about O'loughlin as far as I am aware and then you compared him to Langely. Why are you back tracking?
So the sign of a good player is how many medals he has won? You know nothing about RL. Rickey Bibey has 2 challenge cup medals to his name. Trent Barrett has never won a medal in his life, but is world class.
What a ridiculous point to make.
And I would have O'loughlin over any loose forward in Super League so everyone is a winner then.
Your first and last points don't balance up very well do they? And you say that players should be judged by stats and then later say that they shouldn't. Make your mind up.
And I haven't even seen a fact from you yet. I think somebody else posted the difference between facts and opinions earlier. You should read it.
Anyway, better players do tend to win more medals - even if there will be some discrepencies - for every Ricky Bibey, I can give you a Peacock or a Cunningham. If O'Loughlin was a top player, he would have gone to a club where he would have stood a chance of winning them. He hasn't done this because he knows he wouldn't have got into those teams.

So loyalty is not worth anything these days is what you're saying. Lockers would get into any club in SL

| Honestly, I don't think I've ever come across a bigger bunch of tits before a game. I thought Huddersfield were bad but these jokers from Wigan are generally a set of daft monkeys.
You'd think they were the best team in the country for the past 10 years the way they are going on after getting off to a flyer.
Langley and O'Loughlin, both fantastic players IMO, Both would walk into any club in SL and both would make the England 17 if fit.

| What is the difference in the comments from some WIgan fans and having the name "Bulls4Champs2010"?

| I'm not sure what I'd do if I was McNamara if Sheriffe is unavailable. The obvious choice would be to put Crookes on Sykes's wing, but I wouldn't be confident with the high balls there, the other would be to shift Menzies out of the pack, but imo Crookes deserves a chance to get in the squad if Rikki's injured.
Sykes
Halley
Menzies
Nero
Reardon
Kearney
Orford
Lynch
L'Estrange
Scruton
Whitehead
Langley
Donaldson
Godwin
Hall
Kopzcak
Worrincy/Crookes
OR
Halley
Crookes
Sykes
Nero
Reardon
Kearney
Orford
Lynch
L'Estrange
Scruton
Langers
Whitehead
Menzies
Godwin
Hall
Kopzcak
Donno
Not sure which I'd go for, but if it's the first i'd have had Olbi in the squad over Worrincy.

Rarely, unfortunately. Look how Gareth Hock repaid his.
Each to their own about O'Loughlin. As I don't look through Cherry and White tinted glasses, I'm quite happy with my opinion. I think you'll find there's not many outside of Wigan who rate him to the extent that you lot seem to.

Luckily fans don't pick sides. I think you'll find that other players and coaches do rate him and I know who's opinion I value most.

| Phelps is out for Wigan still. I hope we continually put the high bombs above Goulding.

If I were playing Wigan I'd target Amos rather than Goulding, make him run before attempting to make a catch and put him under pressure and anything can happen.

After watching his kick returns V Warrington i'd rather not tbh, and (no disrespect) when i've seen Goulding he hasn't been the best and hopefully he'll be nervous enough to drop a few high ones.
But I'm not the coach or Matt Orford

Kicking to him in space is a totally different kettle of fish imo

You're probably right, but I hope (as so many players have when filling in at FB) he has a stinker and borrows a bit of Kallum Watkins' butter for friday. I still think it's going to be a great contest and can't wait for friday!!

Yes, i think that the Bradford game may be one game too early for Phelps and Goulding has done nothing wrong to sugest that we need to rush Phelps back in his place.
Goulding is very much a solid if not spectacular player and im fairly confident he can do a job on the wing for Wigan in the short term.
I suspect Orford will be looking at Roberts' positional play on Friday so expect a chip over the top to try and send Kearney through.

Think you're spot on with the last bit, but i'm sure Kris Radlinski will be telling him a few pointers for FB positioning (he's still part of the backroom, right?).
The only times i've seen Goulding he's been terrible, but I admit, that's not too often. I'm confident if there's a slight weakness shown though, Orford will use it to its full potential.
