| I was somewhat dissapointed by the Bulls performance tonight, individually (with some few exceptions), as a team, its motivational preparation , lack of defensive structure and attacking capability.
Rather sweeping critisisms that should, I feel, be acknowledged by the coaches and management, with them offering a detailed explanation of their plan to put them right.
The time for platinuduous excuses has overrun its course.
I did not Boo my club's players and did not leave before the end as IMO that would be counterproductive.
Others felt that they needed to express their opinions in these ways and I can understand that.
Tonight was a sad time for me - a long term ardent supporter of the club that I trully love. But, Its MY club and I'll continue to support it as I have always done. I can offer no rational explanation for this other than perhaps a tribal comfort.
There will be better days and maybe worse days but i'll be watching MY team.

Cullen was never a legend when he played.
He was never class just a hard stopping centre.
Agreed though he rescued Wire and took us as far as he could.
McNamara has inherited a club used to winning Grand Finals which is the difference.

| Been thinking about that debacle we had the misfortune to watch earlier (Wire fans will see it slightly differently, of course!).
Think about it:
What have Bulls done so many bloody times this season? As soon as the opposition turn on the pressure and we make a daft mistake and waver, our confidence seems to go and our defence collapses.
How many times have we seen that?
Same tonight. More of the sodding same.
How so?
Well the difference today (and at the Piedome) was that the other lot piled on the pressure right from the off, and we screwed up right from the off. So the collapse came right from the off.
Didn't it?
It wasn't a new or even a worsening problem tonight; it was the same old problem.
Something is badly badly wrong in the players' mindset - can't be any other explanation? And that's something that's down to the coach to rectify. And he has very little time. If any time at all.

I can hear the beginnings of a reasoned excuse unfolding. If you weren't so prolific in terms of posts then we wouldn't be able to hear the cogs spinning. Good as it is to hear, knowing that this takes intellectual effort and you're willing to expend the time, ultimately it's futile.
Let's face facts, we promoted an aspirant young British manager, gave him a reasonable time to prove himself (all very creditable), and he was unable to do so. We now face incomprehensible performances, declining crowds and bottom of the table status for the foreseeable future (Celtic excepted). In addition to which we have a millstone of a stadium, no financial backer with any clout and a gloomy economic environment.
In these circumstances we can stick with what we have based on a financial argument (we can't pay him off) and take the risk of a further decline in attendances, sponsors getting the wobbles, further disinterest amongst the paying public of Bradford etc. Or, we can bite the bullet, pay him off and announce a new era for the Bulls, no saying it will work, but at least it gives us time, creates interest, potentially re-engages the paying public etc.
Much as it sounds very noble to have been the stalwart, cheering the team on in the fog laden days of yesteryear as they slowly went bust, my sense of whats happening now, is that we could get there very quickly and that nobility is a value in scarce supply - why not go for broke and make the change now? It's time McNamara went, step aside, or was demoted, please don't waste any more energy struggling to find excuses.

Well argued and coherent post and much to which I agree, falling gate and commercial income that are attributable to poor performances will no doubt be considered against the costs of remedial action.
Although any "go for broke" solution is disconcerting.
