| Well Featherstone had an owner who invested millions and look how that's going!
I'm no Nigel fan boy, but we've been the most stable we have for a long time. We do have investment, have our elite academy status back and had our highest finish last year. In the sport of RL we could end up being the 12th strongest club just by being stable while others around fall apart (and there's a few walking the tightrope at the moment)
Yes I would like a new stadium but no new owner is going to have a spare £30milliom to suddenly build one for us!
I'd understand if Jim Radcliffe said he wanted to buy us and Wood refused to sell! But your axe to grind is just becoming tedious now.

| Quote: bowlinboy "You do understand that "The Bulls" are or is a business?
There for its who ever owns that business to invest in it to make a success of it?.
Nige seems to have spun it so everyone believes it's their responsibility to invest in his business for him.
The letter or statement in the T&A begging the council for stadium money was cringeworthy.
Wakefield are turning a corner as they have a new owner with funds, vision and ambition.
Pretty much like we did in the 90s.
I don't own a professional Rugby League club as I can't afford to,
Seemingly neither can big Nige.
Sell it to someone that can mate.'"
They did get a cheap loan from the council to buy the ground and got a share of the £6million the council gifted to the 3 clubs in their area though.
The new owner bought the club that owned the ground with low repayments to the council on it, development on the ground and pitch underway, an elite academy, no debt and pretty much a guarantee they’ll be promoted at the end of the season. It’s easier to put money in when you’ve got that as part of the de.

Anyone with that kind of money has had NUMEROUS opportunities to buy the club since 2012.
There hasn't been the slightest interest from anyone with actual (as opposed to imaginary) money.

| Taufua now has a two match ban. Gonna be very depleted for the Fax game.

| Marvellous. Did we ever hear how Okoro managed to break his jaw? Anyone got a link to where these cases are?

| It will be interesting to see the disciplinary findings after Easter. Tyler Dupree has just led with an elbow that finished up making head contact and managed to avoid a red card - as a fan I am struggling to work out what is a red and what isn't at the moment.
Perhaps we just bend the rules where it suits in a big game.

| Now Byrne is red carded for a shoulder to the head which looked less intentional than the elbow to me.

It certainly felt like that whilst watching the game yesterday. There was also the head contact to Thompson one play before the Dupree incident that was completely missed by the officials.

| We will have to see how bad Gill's suspected injury is and what happened to Michael Lawrence. But what a result and win that was. Plus we still have to come back.
Holmes (hopefully now, but going take time, and McGowan has been good imo)

Gaskell
Lawrence?
Scurr
Baldwinson

Okoro (edited)
9 of the top of my head, and 8 of those are probably in the 17.

| My heart sank when I saw Gill hobbling off. He looked in a lot of pain. Towards the end of the game he was seen warming up and running up and down the touchline so maybe it's not as bad as it first looked.

I'm no physio but when he was down they seemed to be massaging his calf, wondered if it was either a slight pull or a dead leg?
