I thought Johnson would have offered more when he came but I’ve been a bit underwhelmed by him. Hasn’t done anything majorly wrong, just not as good as Rodgers, Baldy, Appo and Scurr have been.'"
Seem to recall saying that I wasn't impressed by the Johnson signing at start of year and RagingBull bit my head off for the mere suggestion.
Glad to see everyone coming round to my opinion at last

Really? After watching his last couple of years here I'd thought that was his playing style?

| I think the key to beating London tomorrow is matching them physically, which we can do, and getting completion rates above 80%, which we can also do. Those 2 things, at Odsal, should deliver the 2 points

| Well, the London reserves were pretty poor. 84-6 final score. We played well

What a hammering!
Another big test for the Bulls. Heat will also play a factor tomorrow. It’s going to be very hot!

| Another first. George Snr and George Jnr each scored hat tricks in the same game!
Connor Wynn looked very good from fullback. Trialist Rodgers was a handful too.

| Coming up from London, intend to cycle from station to Wibsey area, any recommendations for a pub? Train back to Leeds around 6-6.15. Any suggestions around the station for a decent ale? Thanks in advance.

| Dog and Gun on St Enochs Road is good or Top House and Cue Gardens near the ground.

There’s a pub right outside Bradford Interchange called the Queens but I wouldn’t say it’s great in there! Just cheap. Not far from the interchange there is the Ginger Goose, Drum Winder, Weatherspoons (Turls Green) and Ye Old Crown (a sports bar).
Near the ground there is Q Gardens, Top House (be busy but full of friendly people) and Bankfoot Cricket Club.
In Wibsey there’s Ancient Foresters, White Swan and George IV. Dog and Gun is further out from the high street but a good pub. It’s best to have a gander on google and have a look to see which you’d personally prefer. Hope you have a safe journey up and enjoy your time here!

Personally would have liked Lawford at 7 but Jowitt deserves a run out. Hope Segeyaro goes well.

| Best half of the season for me, particularly in defence. Let's not let them back in this!

| Great performance. Think the scoreline flattered London with them scoring two late tries against 12 men playing Harlem Globetrotters.
We defended our line superbly and scored some great tries. Thought we really dominated them. Still lots of improvement as I think London will be frustrated with some of their errors.
But they were coming into this game in good form and I thought we looked far superior.
Onto an even bigger test next week.

| Another great win and we continue to build confidence and get 4 wins on the spin. London are one of the form sides and we put them to the sword barring the late scores which made the result more respectable. We never looked like losing the game and our forwards did a fantastic job against a big London pack.
Massive performances from Holmes, Scurr, England, Rodgers, Patton, Gill and a decent debut from Segerayo. He looks to be a very decent pick up. Also felt that Matongo looked fairly good on his return from injury.
Moment of the match was seeing Bodene Thompson chasing back the London breakaway in the final minutes. I think that summed up the performance perfectly. Even with the game won he busted a gut to get back and halt the London player.
Only negative was the nasty looking injury to Jowitt. Hopefully we get some good news in the coming days. If he is out injured perhaps we could move Connor Wynne or GF Jr into the starting FB position and move Holmes into the halves with Patton. Alternatively, leave Holmes at FB and bring in Lawford to partner with Patton.
