| Quote: Bull Mania "Yeah I agree with you, i get why Newcastle wouldn't advertise the ourleague as they concentrate on tickets, but surely the RFL could advertise it to all the neutral fans who have no intention of going.'"
To be honest, I think the flaw in that is pretty clear. How, in the age of the internet do you advertise to neutral fans but not let Newcastle and Bradford fans in on the little secret? I mean, what are we doing, right now?

The Bradford game will be available on the OuRLeague app, if you cannot join us in person we hope you can show your support there!

I mean in defence of Newcastle, why would they advertise free streaming when clearly paying punters in the ground would suit.
And in defence of Bradford what do they get out of a free stream? 0.
Maybe the RFL should be promoting it seen as though it’s their platform and it’s their decision not the clubs?

I got an email from the RFL today promoting the stream.
I get why Bulls and Newcastle didn't promote the game.
Bulls will get a percentage of ticket sales and Newcastle will sell more tickets.

| If you’re the sort of person who is dedicated and motivated enough to consider travelling to Newcastle, I highly doubt knowledge of the free stream is going to put you off attending.
The clubs also surely have a commitment to sponsors to ensure maximum exposure which I suspect will be far greater on the stream than those in the ground. The sport is just crap at marketing itself and when it does it often feels like a half hearted after thought.

| Agree. In general as a sport we decide ‘we can’t waste our limited resources, it’s someone else’s job to promote the game not ours’.

100%. Id never not go to a game just because it was on tv or available to stream.

| On the game itself, expecting a tough afternoon. Newcastle pushed Halifax all the way last week. Be tricky for us on the 3g pitch. Hopefully the week off will have done us good though.

| Sloppy defending after taking a 14 point lead. Don't seem to be able to turn the screw when we are ahead.

| Decent win in the end. Sloppy period towards the end of the first half. Think that all but confirms our play-off spot.

| Amazed how little comments on this post after that performance.
Absolutely dominated the game. 5 sloppy mins at the endd of each half but an absolute great win and performance
Shout outs to :
Rooks. MOM and his best game in a bulls shirt so far
Flanagan. fantastic
R. Evans defensive effort was immense
Brown. Try savers!!
Hallas. Best game since his come back from injury
Players to come back. Definitely finish 4th and a home game in the playoffs .

| Pretty well agree with the above. Never been that sold on Rooks but IMO he was very solid yesterday. A good win considering Newcastle pushed Fax very hard last week and it was very apparent after a few minutes that Lilley was the only half back, rarely attacking to the right during the first half.
I think Anthony Walker is on a one year deal, very much hoping that will be extended.
On a side note on the basis when they are mentioned it usually negative, I thought on the whole the referee was very good.

| Very good result. I was worried we were going into self destruction mode in those final 5 minutes of the 1st half. But the 2nd half was very strong and clinical to take the game away from a Newcastle.
Sounds like Kear is going to manage these next 5 games with the play offs in mind. Seems a sensible strategy given we need all our key men fit to make an impression at the business end of the season.

Agreed, with a bit of luck (and we're due some) we should have our big name players fit, fresh and ready for the play-offs.
Makes a change from Jimmy's tactics of just hammering key players in pointless games so they were knackard for the crucial part.
