York attack breaks down with a little punch up

Robinson sent off for a punch thrown plus another yellow to York ... York down to 11, pen to Bulls

Sounds like there's loads of chinning going on.....and as I've written this the referee abandoned the game about 17 seconds before the hooter goes....

a bit of biff after half time ... followed by 2 York sending offs, another punch up but just announced bad light ends the game .... well full time 6-4 to the Bulls but good effort from all the bulls players especially in defense.

Lack of light apparently. Think both coaches will be releived to be honest as they could have been a few suspended for the opening fixtures. You'd be sick of you were James Ford your best player getting sent off in friendly playing against a load of kids in the second half. Silly.

Sounded like a good attitude from us which was needed after last week.

Not just their best player, but both their first choice half backs. At the one point in pre-season when you can't count a friendly towards your ban anymore as there aren't any left. If they cop bans for it, the coach should fine them too for utter stupidity.

Disciplinary panel will look at this a week on Tuesday and any bans will start from Round 2 when we are due to play York.
