| Where has this press conference quote come from? I've heard Kear saying we will probably be in a position to announce on player on Monday, that's about it

| Our ability to run academies and produce fantastic players combined with Marwan's ability to get clubs relocated from early 20th century dumps into 21st century stadia?
The final act in our rebirth would surely be the fond farewell to the the old girl who's too high maintenance.
Would love to see it happen... but I think we've used up our quota of good news for 2018

| Like others, i'm in two minds, but i'm more in favour for Koukash than against. My reasons are:
1. I personally think he's learnt from his antics when he first came to the sport. Sacking coaches at will, saying he'll win SL within 12 months, the tweeting, his war with the RFL etc. Yes he still does this every now and again, but is much more restrained (apart from the MPG antics) At the end of the day, we're now used to spelling errors in virtually all the clubs tweets, so i don't think Koukash tweeting war on the RFL will annoy us too much
2. Cash. Previous posters have mentioned stability, but how long will that last on current funding? This year we'll get central funding of £75k. If we have the perfect season, the maximum we'll get next year is £150k. We need someone to plug the gap. Yet again next season in SL, we'll see Bradford academy products, who we took time to develop and nurture, winning games for other clubs. Trueman, Bentley, Scott, Brown, Hooley. I could go on. The reason we lost all those players was off-field management. If we paid our bills, those players would still be with us and we'd have a nucleus of a HG team, and a damn talented one at that. If Koukash pays the bills, John Bastian will work his magic with the academy and we will actually for once, enjoy the fruits of our/his labour.
A Chalmers/Koukash double act could work wonders. Chalmers seems very passionate about our academy reserves.

| It would not surprise me if Koukash was already involved through an offshore company. How come we are still here, when Chalo took on the business with an academy to pay for, virtually no season ticket income and a debt to other clubs etc etc etc. And property developers and race horse owners know all about the long term nature of some plans. Koukash must after Salford appreciate the crowd and academy player potential, and know that there is an alternative to a sugar daddy throwing money at Aussie players, throwing money at British youth is far cheaper and long term more beneficial. Salford sorted, Tribunal sorted, then a press conference? I really have got the conspiracy theory bug!!!
As previously stated, I cannot wait to get my hands on the first set of accounts as that may give a clue as to the source of the funding for last year.

I thought when Chalmers took over that uncle Marwan was behind it all and have not seen anything since to change my mind

| yes, its all a bit like Tolstoy going for an eye test and being inspired by the third line (H L A) to write War and Peace. So back to plan a: the accounts when issued.

Yep. It’s all very well talking about building back up slowly but if SL is the goal then at some point it will take a cash injection from somewhere to make that step up. Otherwise the talented young lads will continue to move on quicker than we can build a side capable of promotion.

| Is Koukash as wealthy as is made out? Salford's £8m debt suggests otherwise.

Yes he is, however, I'd say this Dual Reg would signal Koukash is unlikely given his recent forthright views on Rowley on twitter

I doubt he actually is as he never appears in The Times' 'Rich List' which starts with those with a fortune of around £120million. And, as Bullseye's pointed out. Salford's debts appear to have more than doubled (in fact almost trebled) since he took over.
