| I have just rung my master card company and sent them the email the club sent me and they have refunded me straight away, they want to see a copy of the receipt the club gave me which i will email tonight

Ticket office today said they are NOT honoring tickets (with or without "benefits"icon_wink.gif bought with credit cards, so their statement that they would is a lie. When the statement was made there were no qualifying conditions placed on it as to the type of payment.
Do I buy a new ST and await a refund from the CC cos. What if they do not pay out for some reason. Can I afford to effectively buy the same ticket twice? and why should I have to?
The office suggested that whilst I am waiting for a refund I can pay on the gate. After paying on gate, £20 in my case, for 4/5 matches, will I have to pay full price for an ST for the rest of the season?
Could they not issue temporary ST for for us until the CC cos decide?
I asked if I would get a replacement ticket if the CC cos decided not to refund.. no answer.
The cc companies have 8 weeks to respond. This is not for a decision.. that takes longer - expect 12 weeks for actual money back.
Oh, and for those of you that have had a CC refund from your bank you might find that this is only temporary until a final decision is made and can be reversed
I have been a regular supporter from pre 1963, seen good and bad administrations, but this is probably most blatant lie I have ever come across.
I can not and will not support yet another administration that I do not trust.
Sad end to what has been a wonderful journey.

If anything, people who paid by CC are actually [ibetter off[/i than those who paid cash, because you now get a full refund of the old (higher) price and can repurchase the cheaper season ticket. It also sounds like you get £20 to spend in the club shop as well!
The club could not simply honour those who paid by CC on a like for like basis. Differing products, differing prices. I'm sure also that someone out there would have definitely claimed their free season ticket and then claimed a refund from their CC company on top. A sh*tty thing to do but you can bet your life somebody out there would have done it.

Pie in the sky for lots of us I think Nothus. See my original post - people been waiting 7 weeks and no refund, letters going back and forth. RickyF1 got lucky - so far.
It is a fact that two bodies of 1863 Members are being treated completely differently. i will buy replacement tickets because all my family want to see our team. I MAY get a CC refund, if so great. If not, I am out of pocket despite original Club statement about honouring tickets.
Still no Email from Club to me so perhaps this is all in my imagination.

I just rung Tesco bank up which is a master card, while i was on phone to them i sent them the email from the club and they confirm there was a case for a dispute and he spoke to his manager and they refunded me straight away.
If you send me your email address i will send you on the email as its not addressed to me.

You know, I just don't buy that. They made a promise. All be it on the insistence of the RFL and they should honour it. I've had enough of failed promises, I've had enough of paying twice and the simple truth is, if I don't get my cash back and they let me down, they've had it with me. It could take months to get the cash back if at all - how long do I wait? The home games start in just over a week. It'seems beyond poor at this stage.

| Anyone struggling to get money back should send the Companies House link for the Bradford Bulls company in admin to their card provider. The claim should be simply under non-receipt of goods.
I got my 3 payments made for membership back after 2-3 weeks. (4th wasn't taken)
And yes, I was gonna try and blag a freebie. Free stuff is free stuff!

| Halifax refunded mine straight away but warned me they (BBNL) had 45 days to challenge the decision from the date of refund.
That gives me 14 days left on the challenge period... Do I gamble?
