Absolutely worth it, you can't take those memories away.

I remember in a Sky match in SL1 (can't remember which game), Eddie Hemings commenting on the Bulls pre game show telling the rest of Super League look and copy to get the fans engagement. Before then when entertainment was limited to a school match perhaps and ballboys kicking balls to each other, thinking 'wow - we're leading the way, I don't believe it'. For that I do thank Caisley for having the vision and foresight to create the Bulls brand.

On SL now, I agree with another poster that I thought the last season was distinctly average, apart from a few Cas and Wire games on Sky. English RL is at a tipping point with The NFL and RFU looking to Hoover up mature talent in one case and young talent in the other (Ford and Farrell in England's team, 15 years ago they would have been playing Super League). The game and, more importantly the team I love are not in a healthy position.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result:

Anyone who said it wasn't worth it must be mental teams have been around for over 100 years and have won very little if anything at all you dominated the game for a decade I started watching my club at the beginning of the 80s when we dominated and I watched us win everything then a decade later we were in the 3rd division playing in front of 1500 fans we eventually made it back (although we got relegated last season) so I have no doubt youll be back as I hope we will on a side note what did you do to Huddersfield to make them hate you so much

Totally worth it. Some of my favourite memories of my teenage years are of Bulls matches at Odsal, away games and of course all the finals.

It was a special time to be a part of and a real privilege to see some of the players we had week in week out.

It's mainly just me and my dad at matches these days although my brother still attends when work allows. My memories of 1996 - 2006 are special because the whole family came along including my mum and sister and any of our mates that happened to be round on any given weekend. It was great to enjoy such success and such a fantastic gameday experience as family.

Unfortunately we are where we are now but you can't take away the memories of an era better than most clubs will ever experience.

This was the same for me. I was in my late teens (wish I still was!). My dad and step-mum lived on Rigton street just off Manchester Road and the aunties and uncles would come round and a big group of us would trundle up Manchester Road every time there was a home game. Pubs full of fans along the way, as well as car after car with little Bradford Bulls flags on making their way up towards Odsal - and that's all before you even got in the ground!. It was like a different world. Once inside there was the pre-match entertainment including Bullman's Parade (hence my moniker icon_smile.gif ) and then the game itself would take place and more often that not we'd be spectacularly victorious. It was just a great time to be around. I also remember walking across Ricky Dunns at the end of every game thinking how lucky we were we didnt need to be in a car and stuck in those queues trying to get out lol

Yes it was worth it. Absolutely. Unbelievable highs and some real lows beats a lifetime of mediocrity and winning nothing for me.

Although, the winning and success between 1996 and 2006 hasn't caused the admins and relegation so its not really a fair question. Poor leadership, and poor planning for the future whilst the going was good is the root of the problem. Chasing more and more success rather than use the success to lay solid foundations....and yes I have 20/20 hindsight which is the luxury of the fan rather than owner.

I think it's fair to say that management at that time certainly 'seized the day'.

Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today to reflect upon and celebrate the life of...

And last but not least, to all those people who wrote this team off. To all those people who critisized this team...tonight's for you. K. Sinfield, GF 2011:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_45465.jpg

The success was a house built on sand, without solid foundations. Fans were sold a dream (and lived it for a decade) before the mismanagement of the club's finances by clowns in the boardroom killed the club. The days of Saints v Bulls rivalry were the best (from a neutral point of view) and I miss the Leeds v Bulls derby's (even though we usually got stuffed and had to endure Jimmy's gloating).

Hope things work out for you guys. Feel very sorry for the fans.

Feel sorry for you guys but it's not over. Take a 12 point deduction and make the middle 8s. You can do it. Get behind your team. I don't post very often on here but I have always said that Bratford are my second team. I have a Leigh season ticket but when I can I will come to Odsal. True fans of the great game are behind you. Good luck, you are still a huge club

I agree, it was built on sand, that's the correct term for it. The chairman's plan was that, if he provided ever more top line players, the results would get better and better and more and more would turn up at the gate. The flaw in his plan was that there is a natural limit to the numbers you can attract and there comes a point where, no matter how successful, the crowd won't increase. When that level was reached he just poured even more into the side and then blamed the fans in the press for not turning up. The only one to blame was himself.

It's got to be said that until someone said that the king had no clothes he wore the best suit in the country.(bit of the old cutting your cloth argument)

Yes it was worth it. I saw Trevor Foster crying at Murrayfield when we won the Challenge Cup.
