| Donno not to Wigan or Warrington then, that's a shock.

Hopefully having spoken to people at our club and bearing in mind that it his career on the line he feels he knows more about his prospects of developing his game than you do as a complete outsider. I am sure you would have held the same opinion about Cas' signings for this season. Your first quote gives you away. If you weren't being disrespectful you would not feel the need to comment on it.

| Great bloke and I wish him well.
Not shocked he wanted a Super League deal, who can blame him - disappointed all the same.

| Massive heart. Great in defence. Unfortunately he can't beat a man in attack and is far too small. He will be a good loose forward but probably not a great one. Still, best of luck to him but I also see Peterson as a far more aggressive replacement.

| Good defence, average attack - sums him up really.
From the clips of the new LF we have signed (former KR player, who's name escapes me), I actually think we have signed a better prospect than Donno for the LF position.
Can't say I'm unhappy that he's moving on - Good luck to him

If he is 5'11" & 14st I cannot remember a single international backrower of that size. Liam Farrell is a better player, at a better team, taller & heavier but still not big enough for top level.

Dave Petersen, I wondered what happened to him.
It'll be interesting to see how Donaldson goes next year, I must admit, I've only heard of the lad, don't know much about him at all, young hungry English players is of the essence in our remaining recruitment drive.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| When we signed him as a junior, he was in demand and had academy scouts raving about his potential. It was a bit of a coup for us at the time.
2 serious knee injuries later (which he does seem to have recovered from), he has not realised his potential with us.
May be time for him to go. From both the club and the players point of view.

I am talking in respect of other players who have left and improved as in Bateman . Whitehead and Kopout in how they have improved since leaving the bulls . Also please don't get me wrong Hull kr are in a much better position to develop Donaldson than us at the moment . It was simply a comparison to previous academy players who have left . Don't take anything in bitterness Donaldson is a great guy and wish him all the luck and as far as the robins are concerned I hope you have a great season next year .

| I wonder if this is good news for Addy if he is to stay. I want to see Addy given a prolonged go at loose forward as I think this is his best position. Peterson and Ferguson in the second row look like a tough pair to me.

Oh dear. I think Peterson is bigger than Donaldson, so perhaps you'll be disappointed.
