| Quote: Bob Dylan's Hat "The 'suffering' does not relate solely to performances on the field, it's more the off the field soap opera [incompetence, lying, false dawns, utter shambles really] which wears you down over time. I have developed a certain amount of 'Bulls fatigue' the past 2 years or so. Following your team should be fun, a pleasant distraction from the daily grind regardless of whether you win, lose or draw. The Bulls have been emotionally draining to the extent I think 'is it really worth the angst any more?'. There is enough seriousness in my life as it is without the Bulls occupying some of that territory as well.'"
Spot on. I think there are plenty who feel the same.
I'll carry on, hopefully new venues with competitive matches at a lower level will bring some interest back [iif [/iwe can see some geniune attempts at rebuilding the club from bottom to top.
Ill be off to London away on the last weekend, kind of feels like a funeral obligation!
And to the OP, I can't really argue, today I wouldnt miss any of them.....tomorrow I might realise some of them can help the rebuild, but yesterday I'd have bought any of them a one way ticket to the club of their choice.

i wouldn't say 5/6 years is long suffering, i guess thats what happens when you are brought up on unlimited success.'"
The 'problems' have gone on since 2004/5, though it's fair to say that, on the field at least, they showed up slowly since then. I think you're right in some ways and there are lots of fans who started in the late 90s who have known little but success for quite a while, and 'normality' would have been a bigger shock to their systems than for the longer term fans.
I think for such as myself, who can remember not only being in div2 previously but the single league and the Yorks and Lancs leagues before that, there is little problem!

It probably won't alter our fate for this year but I'd like to see an experienced coach who knows both SL and Championship level well brought in. I think Karl Harrison or John Kear would be decent options for us right now if they're up for the challenge.'"
Cannot see either of them leaving where they are to take over a smaller club, would maybe show a lack of ambition if they did.

| It almost had a ceremonial feel about it as I turned off the sky sports package last night. Sort of like the wistful look around the flat at the end of the last only fools and horses.
What is the capacity of horsfall statdium thingy? Would it be big enough for SL2?

The irony is we will probably be playing them again next season.
Though the way things seem to be going at present with the deafening silence from the owners I am starting to wonder if there will be any team to support next season in any league?

It has only been a week since MG was on national television, telling everyone he was in it for the long haul and, should we be relegated, we will try and get back in the SL as soon as possible.
What more do you want? Another article saying the exact same thing?

Aye,we've had plenty of WORDS as we accelerated towards relegation with not so much as a whimper.
ACTION---NOT WORDS.
Sackings---get a COACH in place that is gonna send a CLEAR MESSAGE to the FEW remaining supporters they have left---"WE ARE GOING STRAIGHT BACK UP" and maybe, just maybe they will sell more than 2,000 season tickets---maybe?

No - but some evidence of planning for both the back office and playing staff for next year. With the season drifting away it's not long before we will be getting our season ticket renewals asking for our hard earned money - and one of the main sources of cash for the club. So to me at least I would like to hear and see something more tangible than an expression that we will "try" to get back into SL

Sack him and replace him with who, exactly?
Who in their right mind would want to come and coach a side that is odds on for relegation at the end of the year?
Everyone mentions John Kear but I honestly think he would turn us down.
Perhaps we should just spend money in getting rid of FC and then let LSH coach the team for the rest of the season and beyond. Is that what you want?

What about Noble? at least he will tighten up the defence!
And when we are relegated, hopefully secure promotion in the first season.

| You can have Harrison , if you are a fan of one man rugby , five drives and a kick and a style of attacking play so predictable you know thats gonna happen 3 plays before it does - will even pay for his Taxi from Shay to Odsal - Matt Calland would be better for you , good attacking rugby thats what Fax had with Calland in charge.
