It is a lot easier when you can willingly cheat by breaking the salary cap in all fairness.

| The Police requested the delay due to an accident on the adjacent Motorway.
For me Nobby has to abandon his 5 drives and aimless kick approach, we were without 3 on Thursday but will gell by June. Saints will win the lot this year.

| Salford were poor last night and the good doctor will have been disappointed with the display and the crowd. However it is much too early to dismiss them and assume they will be relegation candidates . I would never underestimate Brian Noble.
Saints look very good but Super League's history is full of examples of teams who looked unbeatable at the beginning of a season but fell short at the end. In my opinion the forwards are the best set in super league at the moment.
I disagree with the post concerning Laffranchi-- he's a very reliable and underrated prop. A good professional in the Hargreaves style. From what little I've seen of Masoe he is explosive but prone to errors and I think Brown would choose all the props on show last night in his first choice 17.

| Salford should get better as they all gell. London are in the same position with all of their new players. Is anyone keeping count of the overseas players London have? Another one signed today. Do they have an exemption from the 5 that everyone else has? They can't all have European grandparents.

It is an RFL conspiracy to make sure we get relegated. Didn't you know?
Do keep up.

| Saints look very good. Luke Walsh is some player. I think they will be the team to best this year.
I don't know what to think about Salford, they looked like a very "Noble" team. No plan B.
And what's all this about gelling? Have they not been together all pre-season like most teams?

Agree,Walsh looked red hot and Kyle Amor/Walmsley(where did they get him from?)looked awesome. They're gonna take some beating as Salford/Warrington could not match the pace at which Saints move the ball. With Swift and Percival willing runners on the outside, they have a great blend of youth and experience.
Wish we had a WALSH,I could watch him play all day long.

I thought Tim Smith looked lost for Salford last night. Given he's probably spent pre-season with Chase it's probably not that surprising Salford looked un-threatening in attack. Noble teams generally are well organised defensively but they were all over the place so I'd fancy they'll concede points against most teams it's just if they can outscore sides.

| Walmsley came from batLey, pretty sure we where keeping tabs on him. But we didn't sign him when we had the chance, and he is a properly nice guy to top it off also, Walsh was fab only issue like many teams is what happens if he is missing for a few weeks, do they have the cover just move lomax to 7?
