Well we SHOULD beat Widnes at home, with all due respect to them but the problem is now that things are no longer in our own hands. Hull KR are now in the box-seat to complete the 8 as I expect Saints will get it together finally.
The rest are all safe.
Results went against us again this week though. Running out of time to make any impact.

Anythings possible in Rugby League,but Bulls making top 8?Can't see it as every other team in the SL has more pace than the Bulls and with the hard grounds now with us we just don't have the fire power imo.I said we would struggle come the hard grounds and struggle is what we are doing.
Time to add a John Woods and a Lamb/Redfern imo.If you haven't got the initial pace to catch an opponent,you can't tackle them.You are born with raw pace,you can't coach it,therefore----

We weren't disgraced at Saints but think 24 points our most likely haul. hard to see how with the size of our squad and that prat Whitehead's stunt we can build the pressure for the run in. We did look as if we were on track for the playoffs at one stage, but have lost momentum. Still at the begining of the season most pundits had our name on the wooden spoon and as was pointed out on another thread we lost several good seasoned pro's after last season: Elima, kopout, Hargreaves. I suspect with those three in our pack, and maybe Burgess we would still be 6th ot 7th and probably goen a bit further in the cup.

As long as we're in the mix there's always a chance with all these games left. There's plenty of opportunity for a number of teams to put in a run, [either good or bad] so it's far too early to make realistic guesses. If we can get a few of our best 17 back it would help.

We have to beat Widnes no ifs not buts, if we dont we and KR and Saints win we are 3pts away and we wouldnt make it back up.
Lucky we have 2 weeks off before we play Widnes, who play wigan in the CC, which could be a silver lining to the cloud.
We have had these problems for the past few years now with us not being able to tackle or score enough points nothing to do with the lack of money or our small squad, like i said we need some seasoned back room staff who can get us moving along mainly and offensive and defensive coach would be great, think our board may need to put their hand in their pockets at some point.

Sadly I think most of you have missed the point. I don't want you to tell me whether you THINK we can make the 8.
I want you to predict the outocme of every remaining fixture, and then see where that gets you.
It may, or may not, be the same thing.
The other thing to remember is that every other team has to play its fixtures out as well. They won't all score 2 points a week.
Anyway as you are all lazy here's a link to a spreadsheet with my forecasts. But don't argue with my forecasts, and don't tell me your forecasts, do your predictions and tell me where we end up!! That's what I want!!!
As you can see there's a line for each fixture and I have put a 2 and a zero as per the fixture list. You can even use a 1-1 if you predict a draw.

My PC wouldn't support it, just lots of randomly spaced 2s & 0s all over the page.

If we can do it think its going to come down to us vs KR, again and by doing FA's forecast and one i made myself think we can just sneak it.
But it all depends if Saints crumble if they do we should be able to squeeze past them, along with KR.

wow, didn't realise how hard our run in was.
I don't expect us to beat any of the teams above us in the league, as a reult I don't think we will make it. (only had 3 wins for the remainder of the season)
Hull KR have it tough, and I almost agree with your predictions, although I think they have it in them to grab a win against a stronger team. On my predictions, I had them beating Saints.
Out of the 3 teams, i actually predicted Saints would win the most games, therefore i have Saints in 7th, KR in 8th Bulls in 9th (or below).
