| Complete waster these days. Not his ability that's in question, it's his god awful attitude. And the fact he's about as clever as Joey Essex.
Be better off giving some experience to the likes of Sam Wood. Naughton I don't think is as close as Wood, but I'd rather have either of them in than a waster like Owen. It may not be the best player for right now, but giving them some experience will do wonders for their future prospects.

| why not come and ask hull fc to loan jamie shaul, was fantastic on his debut v wakefield scoring a brilliant try form the halfway line, cant get a game at fc as mcdonnell is our reg fullback and done nothing wrong to be dropped, fcs' partner club where he is on dual reg, york, have signed a fullback this season so cant get a game there too

| Perhaps FC can work wonders on Owen and he will change his ways with the Bulls family ... Sad as he had the potential to be a decent player . Still time i guess! .. look at Foster couldnt get a game at Saints (for some reason?) now just signed a two year deal with us and seems a careful professional player

| It might be that Owen's attitude can be traced back to his broken leg.
Perhaps a change of scenery would change all that?
The lad was being talked up as being a good prospect as well as only being 22 so there's plenty of time to knock the rough edges off him.

Agreed. Owen definitely showed potential. It will be the sign of a good coach if he can turn Owen's career around.

| It will take a bit longer than a month to turn Ritchie's career around.
Regarding the broken leg - I don't think that is the reason for his dip in form - he actually came back well from his injury. The person who mentioned the Santa fiasco earlier in the thread is probably right.
