| When you look at the 19 man squad and you add Obrien, Platt and of course Luke Gale it's a pretty strong squad, not top 2 or 3 but strongest we have been for a while

| I'd probably rest Purtell for this one, provided Lulia and Blythe are fully fit.
In the backrow I'd like to find room for Donaldson given his defence is good. Attacking wise Whitehead is better. Not much to choose between them.
Kearney
Kear
Blythe
Lulia
Foster
Addy
Sammut
Scruton
L'Estrange
Manoakafoa
Olbison
Whitehead
Walker
Diskin
Bateman
Sidlow
Langley

| If we were to play our strongest 17 tomorrow out of the 19 man squad, for me there would be no place for Donaldson or Addy
I know some will disagree, that's just my opinion

| If Gale were back then I'd drop Addy as well. I don't think he's top quality but he gives us options. If you take him out completely we've one less kicker and ball handler. Our plays would centre around Sammut and Kearney and marking two blokes is easier than three. I can see why some would drop Addy but I'm not yet convinced.
I've been impressed with Donaldson's defence since he came back. Unlike Whitehead his tackles stick. However his attacking play lacks a bit of impact.

| Yes, Donaldsons defence is very good
Whatever team FC goes with, how much better is this than trying to worry who might be fit to slot into someone else's position

| My main question of who to drop would be; who would deal with Ryan Hall better out of Elliot Kear and Adrian Purtell?
But also, I can help think now we're healthier in the three-quarters that Cummins may revert to the team from rounds 1 and 2 with Kearney in the halves and Purtell replacing Platt.

| Depends on how fit and ready Purtell is for this game. Kear's pretty strong at dealing with kicks whereas Purtell is less so. As an attacking force Purtell is better.
If we can guarantee some go forward from the pack then I'd be more comfortable about leaving Addy out. IMO if Langley's back then Addy may miss out.
As Roger says it's good to have these headaches over selection for a change. Once Gale's back we'll be even better off. Not long before Evans is back too either.
