Turns out the old git had the norovirus & pegged it, I thought he was shirking & insisted he wiped every weeping orifice of mine regularly with a silk hanky. Mind you, he was 92.

Not going to be able to play until March/April I think.

Yeah, IIRC he's got medical approval for contact training but not yet for playing. I guess he'll be chomping at the bit but you have to get these things right.
