We have been priveleged to see some truly great props some who were acknowledged and some who were not. As everyone says prob between fielden and vagana as the top two. Vagana was just so solid and in attack was just sturdy and dependable but was one of fiercest defenders I remember seeing. Fielden was the start of the more athletic props and what he did with his attributes pretty much from year one was impressive, I remember watching him and deacs in academy together and he just moved up seemlessly. Attack wise fielden broke more defences and early on was pretty handy try wise. Wish big Joe had applied for citizenship and not retired he would have been a massive boost off quota (old rules would have qualified just I think).
Also When Richard Moore came through timing wise I think he was very unlucky, he was a big raw boned prop good in attack and defence but had discipline problems. I think without the players in front of him we could have moulded him a bit more, he has not been the same since his krohns disorder.
