| Quote: wildwoman " we payed our creditors'"
Did you?
Could you give us a summary of the creditors according to the filed Statement of Affairs, and note against them which ones were actually paid? In particular, how much did you repay HMRC?
I understand Mr Glover settled with some smaller local creditors (I suppose the club's credit standing was probably shot given it was the second time in recent years your club defaulted on its debts - I seem to recall the noteworthy example of the husband-and-wife catering supplier who lost was it £11k (or £19k?) last time round as a particular example) but I never heard that he had settled with the larger creditors? Could you update us please? Ta.

| In todays sports news a late surge Wakefield moves them ahead of Keighley and Halifax in the bitter and twisted, hard done by league table.

| I've been quite fond of Wakey since the late 70s when a mate played there. But even back then we used to laugh at the constant booing & screams of bent & cheat. They make your average paranoid, myopic Wigan fan seem only bitter & twisted.

There you are wrong old fruit, we were fined £25,000 for what was a minor breach, and docked 2 points. St Helens were in a similar situation but the amount over the breach wasn't as much as the Bulls so they were just fined £22k with no points deduction.
So please don't make comments you can't substantiate my good fellow.
I think the next step will be a public flogging for anyone that supports the club, having just listened to the Glove Puppet, I think he's called Paul Cullen on Boots and all, I think he is not one of our fans, his comments were purely nasty and upsetting for all our fans and certainly I don't think we could welcome him with a red carpet at Odsal anymore...

Regarding Cullen's comments. I did not take his outburst as a pop at Bulls fans but rather a diatribe against the previous owners/ management. What he failed to acknowledge was that the new owners had nothing to do with the mess created & that there has been a penalty imposed . I could not believe his statement that having 16 contracted players was 16 more than Widnes and Wakefield had "this time last year". At least when he calmed down a little , he did say that SL could not afford to lose our fan base.
Then 5 minutes later he's bemoaning the fact that so many in our game concentrate on the negative stories !!

| I never watch the programme, but Cullen is great value. I used to imagine he would lead GB to victory over the convicts.

Cullen's views were well expressed and fair comment, imo not everyone is going to be in favour of our position. To be fair to the Sky team in general, on Tuesday night the SLBackchat people all backed the new owners, with Stevo, Rod Stud, and both the journos coming out in our favour and against the loss of funding.
As for Paul Cullen I find him to be generally articulate and thoughtful. As a player he was the sort that every fans likes in their team but which opposition fans tend to dislike and he's a rugby league person through and through. I didn't particularly agree with his comments but there are a million different views out there and I guess he's entitled to his.

| I've been doing lone battle on the Wigan board for a couple of weeks as all dissenters appear to be banned. It is very refreshing to read mature debate on here. That's the last nice thing I am going to say about you lot.
