Agreed this is excellent news. His agent also acts for Elliot Whitehead and it says in the article that John (and by inference his agent )wants to stay. Another Gary Tasker quote is :

That could be agents "bigging up" their case but I suspect there's more than a grain of truth in the remark.
My only disappointment with the article for me is that Tasker is probably leaving -- but may be available as a consultant. I think he's done a tremendous job these past few months and would have made an excellent CEO.

Huddersfield have released a few players. David Fa'alogo would be worth a one year deal at 32. Also Adam Walker is a young prop at 21 with plenty of potential. Huddersfield wanted to keep him, but he turned their offer down. I believe he's from Bradford too, although I'm nott 100% sure on that.

Fa'alogo's a poor injury record and quota I suspect.

Two good reasons not to sign him. I guess he wouldn't be cheap.
