| The amateur rugby league player could be Ikram Butt with that textiles company. After all he is a former Bradford player.

I notice that he was interviewed somewhere 'out of the blue' a couple of weeks back (can't remember where).
Ikram always speaks eloquently, so I am happy to hear from him, but I did wonder at the time why him, when there are many others that one would assume are a bit closer to the situation.

| Someone on the T and A site has said that it's gonna take a group who look at the Coral Stand as a massive opportunity, rather than look at the ground as a black hole into which to pour money.
I think that's right so hopefully it comes together.

| It now seems that after all the reports that there were 4 or 5 groups interested and all the speculation that CC had engineered the situation to ensure he would be part of a solution, we have only one possibility and that is a group of Bradford businesses. If so there will be no bidding war and they are in a strong bargaining position. if they pull out then we are facing oblivion.
What happened to Greenwood's interest--has any journalist asked them a direct question?
Why has CC stayed so silent over the past 2 weeks?
As the deadline approaches we the fans , the players ,coaches and employees who've done us proud remain in the dark and very nervous.

I'm not nervous in the slightest. The constant nausea, jiggling my foot up and down under my desk like a coke-fiend, and pressing refresh on my browser every 5 seconds are entirely unrelated.

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |

| From an outsider looking in I think that the outcomeis already decided. From the silence of certain parties who basically engineered this situation to the unavailability of the administrator to interested parties last week. Someone thinks he can make himself a hero. CC anyone?

Maybe the report in the Guardian is correct? Mumtaz would have a stonking restaurant in the ground, virtually ready to rock and roll - if indeed it is they who are interested.

[iGuilfoyle, who insists the club will be liquidated if he cannot find a buyer, says he may push back tomorrow’s deadline if current talks progress.
“I’ve got to sit down with some of my partners who are hard-headed and perhaps don’t share my love of sport and convince them that it’s worth carrying on,” he said.[/i
Could be a long 24 hours.

The BullPen - Bradford Bulls Fansite: //bradfordbulls.wordpress.com/: |
|
| Brendan Guilfoyle, the administrator searching for a buyer for ailing Super League club Bradford, says he is "hopeful" of receiving an offer before tomorrow's deadline.
"I'm talking to a consortium of Bradford businessmen," he said. "We've just adjourned because we're tired and we're going to have a coffee. "We'll re-convene tonight when all interested parties will be there."

| I see Mumtaz has a personal wealth of £25 million, which means he can easily afford it
And, as others have said, converting the main part of the Coral Stand into a Mumtaz, with oodles of adjacent parking, looks like an awesome business opportunity
They could even have a Jaldi Jaldi at the top of the terraces for us plebs who don't get invited into the Coral Stand on match days

Still waiting to hear...
Of course, it could still be going on - perhaps they sent out for a curry
