| Quote: The Biffs Back "As an outsider looking in
Mick Potter has done an excellent job this season thus far at the Bulls and not only with the transformation of making the Bulls a competitive force once more, but moreso in the way in which he has conducted himself during this very testing time at the club and how he has portrayed himself and his club in the media
Whatever the outcome of his career at the Bulls, IMO he will certainly have the respect of all true RL fans as being a true professional and as a honourable person and one who is also a mighty fine coach too'"
Concur 100%.
I would add that he has done the job as a mighty fine coach despite an even worse catalogue of injuries than he managed to cope with at St Helens.
He deserves every accolade as a coach and honourable man.

| If we get a buyer who doesn't want to give Mick Potter a long term deal as Bulls head coach then I'm sure there's more than a number of other SL clubs who'd jump at the chance of getting a coach of Potter's calibre.
He's shown he can take a club and build it up. He did it with Catalan, he was doing it with us. If I was chairman of a club like London or Castleford, I'd certainly been making overtures towards bringing him in for next season

| Great for you guys that something decent and positive seems to have happened with Potter's return along with his team. From the outside it was all looking very seedy and more than a bit suspicious. I know Nobby is a legend at Bradford and I know he has said that he was approached only after Potter refused to carry on, but the rumours have been flying around for ages that he had been lined up by Caisley to return with him as the "Dream ticket".
The only reason I say this is because when we were getting battered every week and the the cries for Denis Betts' head were reaching fever pitch, Nobby was one of the names fans were clamouring for. However there were plenty of posts on our own Board that Nobby had been lined up to go back to Bradford and therefore wouldn't be interested!
Potter seems a very good guy and no mean coach either, but a great shot in the arm for Sunday for you and dare I say it for us too. Our ambitions are not that great this season, but if you can stop London climbing back over us and pushing us back to bottom then it would be greatly appreciated!
No doubt you will all just be thrilled that the game is still on! We have seen the dark days (although perhaps not as dark as those currently facing you) and for us I can honestly say it led to a bright new beginning. Lets hope you get a similar shot in the arm.

See it goes to show that there are fans who are keeping up to date with our troubles and are genuinly happy about our good news. At least it isn't a 'Oh whos a good player for you so we can buy them' thread. Good luck this weekend anyway and im sure we will beat London !

Bloody marvellous.
There had better be one hell of a standing ovation on Sunday. This will surely do more to swell the crowd than anything Guilfoyle could say?

| GET IN!
There's something strange happening to my mouth. The corners have turned upwards. It's vaguely familiar and not an unpleasant feeling at all.

| Superb! Get in. Now we need to raise the volume on Sunday like we did at Wigan, any prospective buyers will be in the ground on sunday, lets make us a prospect they can't turn down on and off the pitch!

| Well done Mick!
It is really appreciated by us that you have not decided to take your bat home in pique.
Not that we thought you would. We know you are of greater character than that.
Like yourself we have no idea what will happen to the club but your decision to coach the team on Sunday gives us heart that we are still alive and competing

| Well stone the crows or some other non-protected avian species who would believe this!
Glad I did not put that tenner on London. There have been so many twists in this tale that I fear MP might be abducted by aliens before Sunday's game.
To be continued?

| Betfair:
Bulls 1/7
Broncos 14/1
Draw 10/1
Its tempting to cover a Bulls loss even if I dont want it

| As a Saints fan and a very infrequent internet forum poster I felt the need to comment on this.
In his 2 years at the helm at Saints Mick Potter couldn’t be described as a runaway success (good coach, but not our style, sometimes the 'fit' isn’t right- that’s life) but off the field he handled himself excellently and was respected for this by the majority.
However, what he has done today is truly outstanding. He has put his own personal disappointment, upset and anger to one side. He listened to his (at that stage) former players and put his hand up to stand by them. Well done Mick.
Quite rightly many of you have called him a Bulls legend. He has shown what many others have before him, that when the going gets tough the RL family will stand together and fight for one another.
Good luck to you all. I hope not only do you survive but you survive in the way in which all of your fans deserve, not with some underhanded manoeuvre but with honour and integrity.
