Not a good second half. Gale not finding touch put nail in coffin. 22 -0 down, very likely a defeat, 28-0 down, it becomes damage limitation.
Completely unacceptable not finding touch and it doesn't sound like hime or Jefferies have got off the bus.
Got to regoup at half time and make sure it doesn't become a 50+ scoreline.

With a 4 day turn-around and nearly half the team out injured i don't suppose we could have expected anything different? we could do with the Giants beating Hull KR on Monday to keep us in contention in the 8.

Pretty much agree with that. Combination of short turn round and injuries realistically made this game a bridge too far. That said I hoped we would keep margin a bit lower.
Two week rest now to regroup and hopefully get a few bodies back. If there isn't a noticeable improvement next match, especially defensively, then we need to start worrying IMO. |
