*Groans at pun* Hi and thanks for that. we did a fundraiser for the DSA a couple of years ago (James's world title win I mentioned in the OP. Its a good idea but They like it to be purely for them for the reason you gave, so people know what they are giving towards.

Also, we need to hammer home the message that what James is doing is surely worth a fiver of anyones money, so long as it isnt a bad cause its irrelevant what it is.

yeah thought of that, we'll need a load of buckets, again I want someone from the club here who can bank the daily totals with everyone in the knowledge neither me or James want a penny for this.

Via twitter DM, Spannerz has given a load of practical advice. The initial high of thinking of this has been replaced with 100% focus. Thanks to people on here it seems less of an enormous thing to arrange. Keep 'em coming

Like love or hate us no true RL Fan would want a rival club to cease, and you never know if/when you might need our help, which we would do.

Also, the Rhinos fan with Downs doing something like this to help their club would get more from us than any fiver.

Sounds like a great idea but as mentioned you would need to get as much coverage as possible. Oh dear oh dear oh dear .
My other half just read this post and decided that if half the proceeds are going to a DS charity then she would like to help out . Two problems though . The first problem she has is that she can't walk very far . Her solution is that she could send me to do the walk . YES , ALL OF IT . She pointed out that I have a tent and a sleeping bag , and she would give me permission to have the week away . I think she just wants rid of me for a week . The second problem is that I would need three weeks notice to take a week off work to do the walk .

BTW , Before you ask why I would be interested in doing the walk I know a few people with DS . One of them is my uncle ( he once won a medal for Carpet Bowls at the Special Olympics ) I am sure he could be persuaded to take part in at least the final stretch of the walk .

Youre more than welcome aboard, but as I've said splitting proceeds dont tend to work. Would love Rhinos fans to join us, it isnt about Bradford Bulls its about one of its most passionate fans trying to save it, with the help of the entire RL community.

Its not time for hacked off Bulls fans to ignore James's efforts either. Help him save the club and we'll deal with the sackings/shootings afterwards. If we hold the enquiry first then we'll be debating who killed it.
