I think its supposed to be like they have in the cricket, the Indian pipe in India, the yodelling in South Africa. Its just not come off. I think its quite funny (mainly listening to the fans having a right good moan every time its played).

Keep playing the music. I have no problem with it.

Only, play it when the OTHER sodding side kicks off. Not us.

After all, on those (all too rare) occasions, its US doing the attacking (or should be). Can't understand why its been done the other way round.

Whenever Bradford kick off, they play some sort of little Mexican tune through the PA system to try and put the opposition off from catching the kick off. It didn't work though

Embarrassing. RL is a working class sport. Play some tunes which are actually related to Bradford and the people who live there.

Odsal is the most unique venue in the country without question, it was ruined today by those stupid tunes!

It was obvious the fans didn't like it. We were getting quite annoyed with it at first as it is clearly a tactic to try and put off the reciever, it's very unsporting. It's similar to how Leeds continue with the marching on together song whilst they are kicking off, only they don't do it every single kick off. After a bit we just found it funny as even though it clearly wasn't working they carried on playing it. It was a bit cringeworthy along with we will rock you.

Wouldn't we be better playing a horrendously loud burst of white noise or feedback just as the oppostition are about to catch it?

Did none of you guys watch the RU world cup last year?
They've just copied what was done for every kick off in every game during that tournament, it's exactly the same tune. Some bright spark at the club must have thought we would appreciate something being copied from the other code, which is a massive mis-judgement.

What's worse, is that it appears to only be played when the opposition is receiving the ball, so now opposition fans are thinking it's some sort of attempt to put off the person catching the ball. I honestly don't think that's why they are doing it, but it's coming across that way.

Horrible. We should all email stuart duffy asking him to cut it out, I think he would listen.

Anyone else think the sound from the speaker system was terrible this week?

I couldn't hear a word the announcer was saying but usually its fine.

Yes I did think it was muffled - but I put that down to the fact that I was trying to keep out the cold by wearing a woolly hat.

But, come to think of it, even when I whipped my hat off at half time it still sounded muffled and indistinct
