If that had happened i would have been calling for Potters head, letting go 1 of our best players for a young winger who's yet to fully prove himself. And lets not forget, he wouldn't do much for us because he'd get hardly any decent opportunities seen as he'll have a mediocre centre on his inside. |

Personally i'd keep Royston and let Walker go now we've signed Purtell. For some reason Potter has a downer on both Royston and Briggs but believes Sykes continually warrants a place in the first team..

Shame about Royston but with Kearney ahead of him at Full back it's felt like trying put a square peg through a round hole at times. Still you need as many good players in the squad as you can get.
Not so sure about the value of re-signing Walker. He's spent too much time on the treatment table over the past few years for me. It's harsh because he looked quite good when he played but I don't think we can afford to carry people who pick up a lot of injuries. |

Can't get along with how many people are against keeping Chev. Can't see him being on a huge amount of money and if he's playing as back up/squad rotation player he's better than Sykes or Platt. Why is this a bad thing?
