mini (or roger), you know your rugby. Who would you have as your partnerships in the hb.

I can see why people dont like herbert, but if we are looking for depth then we should want 2 potential organisers. if herbert leaves, we then seem to have a group of halves who are all best at SO, and certainly whose strengths arent organising.

If we want Sammut and BJ as flair/ creative players, we dont need briggs. Even if we push BJ into SH, that would leave gale/sammut as flair, ie no need for briggs. surely you would want herbert at sh over bj or briggs, even if you think gale is better there.

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_7741.jpg

Quote: mat "doesnt address problem of whos going to organise team though does it? I've no problem losing herbert or bringing sammut in. just cant see who the on field general is going to be. Gale and Jeffries are both limited in what they can do in that area IMO.'"

Exactly, quins fans have said they're sad to lose Gale, but have pointed out his defensive frailties and a lot of the same criticism has been leveled, quite justifiably at Sammut. Yes, they can be both exciting attacking players, but you win games with defense. Herbert is a solid defender and is a better organizer than either Sammut or Gale. The addition of both Gale and Sammut strengthen us for next year, but the loss of Herbert will weaken us.

The film is a complete work of fiction. The real Wallace deserved everything he got.

mini who??????

i would be happy with gale at 6, sammut at 7, with BJ as back up, 2 quality attacking centres who would get decent ball form the halves who then in turn could use their speedy wingers to finish off

assuming halves stay as sammut, jeffries, gale ,briggs (assuming he isnt on way out too), Lets see how many games it takes next year before you start complaining we're running round like headless chickens and too much one man rugby. icon_lol.gif

Am I dreaming things up or did Gale play loose forward in his early career? Maybe Gale 13, Sammut 7 and Herbert 6 would be the best combination although Gales defence at 13 would be thrown massively into question. Let Ah Van go, would much rather have Ainscough and Raynor on our wings with genuine pace & the actual position they have played all career instead of being a "utility" back! Have Crookes or Platt as back up there!

Crude and slow Whino, your attack was no better than that of a clumsy child.:Others/MINOTAUR.JPG
