1. Whitehead -Monster in defence
2. Platt - Monster in defence, ran hard and that charge down at the end of the 1st showed comittment and i think killed Hudds off.
3. Jefferies - Outstanding kicking game and set up all our tries in first half.

But the entire 17 were outstanding. Burgess was a beast, Sykes was faultless, Ah Van looked excellent on the wing and made huge yards.

Mine is the complete team they all played well no outstanding players.

First time I cannot do this! Too many played well. If possible, I would give 1/17 of a point to each of them.

For the sake of naming three, I will list:

Sykes (best game for years - did everything you would want to see in a centre)
Platt (not far off the same - and massive in defence)
Jeffries (created loads, read the game well and kicking game excellent)

But that list should include Koppy (what a player he is maturing into), Whitehead (everywhere and massive in defence and attack), Herbert (its starting to work...whisper it quietly but he did just fine again today), Lynch (massive massive stint leading from the front), Raynor (new deal fully justified), Elima (no explanation needed!) - and of course the magnificent Burgess (what a massive lift he gives when he barges right through the defence - what a future for this kid!). But all of them deserve a place. I could list positives about them all today.

2. Burgess - An absolute handful for the Giants yesterday, gets better and better!
