| Somehow I dont think a coach would choose not to spend every penny available to him. Of course he was given the full cap to spend, yeah sure.

| Continuity works when a team is doing well and helps sustain that. It just doesn't work with dross. The idea this team would do better with a few changes is way off the mark unless these changes are seriously good players and in right positions.
I don't even expect a clear out, mainly because a lot are still under contract and i don't think many other clubs will be chasing them.

| We need :
a) a new captain
b) to spend the full salary cap
c) to add some real quality.
d) move on any players who would not get in a top 8 side. For me Raynor & Royston deserve new contracts. Royston as back up and Raynor could have Ah Vans shirt if we can't find better. Earlier on I would have given Ah Van one too but not now. Both halfback positions are still an issue, Jeffries can fill one but he isn't the best and we are crying out for some quality there.
I heard an old bloke on the terrace saying Noble wants to come back. If that were true, and we could do it for a realistic amount of money then I would bite his bloody hand off atm.

110% agree. Langley can't string 2 games together and is relatively ineffective at the best of times. Lynch's solid as a rock workhorse performances have become sluggish and much less solid. Of our props today (all 5 of them) I'd keep Burgess and Koppy. Hargreaves offers nothing and Scruton doesn't do enough and see above for Lynch. Whitehead makes a better centre than 2nd rower and Addy is utterly ineffective at hooker. It's all well and good slating the halves but no good half backs play behind a beaten pack. This is the 2nd week running that we have been well beaten in the pack, the area that, 7 years ago, was where we dominated in the league.

| A clearout needs to start at the top and make its way down so it would be wonderful to see the end of the likes of Hood, LSH, Winston Medley and, of course, teflon Duffy.
On a playing side there is almost too many to mention, but seeing the end of Sykes, Platt, Ah Van, Langley, Lynch, Sibbitt, Crookes, Raynor and Walker for starters would hardly be disasterous.

| Love these threads. Get rid of everyone but don't actually come up with any suggestions as to who they could be replaced with. Yeah, that's the attitude that'll turn everything around at Odsal.

What is it with some sections of the Bradford support that seem to think that you cannot make a point without having a ready made list of replacements??
It is quite obvious that some people are stealing a living at the club at the moment and need to be moved on as they contribute absolutely sod all.

And if I kick out the legs from your chair, how will you stay sitting on it?
The fact is if you're going to get rid of all those people you'll need someone to replace them. And yes, to improve you'll need to replace them with better than who you have. But the trouble is, you hit the same problem the Bulls hit. Just who is available to get?
Sacking everyone is impractical and would do far more damage to the club than any good it might do.
If you have a problem with people taking you to task over the points you make, then perhaps you ought to better think out your points before you make them

| Fwiw, Wire fans bang on about how many of their current team where there in the 'Dire' days. Squad overall may be unnecessary as well as undesirable. Additions are a different story.

| I reckon somewhere the quality is there, its just the players arent playing to potential or the coaching staff arent bringing out the best in these players.
Diskin - quality hooker but only behind a rolling pack, we arent making yards
Raynor - quality winger, doesnt get a pass
Royston - top-scorer cant a game
Kearney - good fullback - doesnt get given the space/service from h/b's
Whitehead - potentially top forward, being ruined in the centres

| Raynor - a quality winger who couldn't score when in open space? Is there many other wingers in the league who would have been caught in that position?
