My youngest son isn't a member - to be honest he doesn't have the interest yet to justify the outlay. But Id like to take him to one game... just to see if he can sit still long enough

So something like Kids for a Quid might help people like that. Failing that, how about those Family Ticket voucher things they used to do in the T&A... a whole family for, say, £20 or £25?

Great prospect isn't it - getting slaughtered on TV in an empty ground, and having to pay £18 for the privilege. I doubt we'll get much over 7000.

I am beginning to wonder how we'll keep the 'newbies' from this year's pledge. Bit difficult to generate that enthusiasm again once you've let people down.

All the debate about money is a little bit of a non starter for me - if we have a clear commitment to spend the cap, which seemingly we do this year, I would imagine we should have a squad capable of doing better given the coaching set up. Equally people always say name someone who we can bring in at short notice, but then we're not really in a position to know who is available at any point, nor who is being touted by agents, only to comment on who we get - and Jefferies wont inspire anyone to shell out hard cash. For example - I didn't know Jarred Sammut was available last year, nor did I know Lance Hohai or David Shillington were willing to come to the UK, so am surprised Jefferies was all that was available.
